It's too cheap to be an iClock.

I know it's not made by Apple, but if this was made by Microsoft it would probably only cost 39p and self-destruct when the alarm went off!

Will order one thanks.

I got one of these for my mum at Xmas as she's losing her sight in her old age. She absolutely loves it as it tells her both the time and the temperature when you press the 'stalk' down. Although it says this is English the voice does have something of a chinese twang to it. The word 'fahrenheit' comes out as 'fal-len-hi' which always amuses me.

I got mine at Maplins for £3.00. I just checked and they are still doing these for £3.00 so a bit cheaper than Play.com.

Bigger than a 50p. About the size of a small Royal Gala that someone has sat on!

Possibly true, but if was made by Apple it would bore you back to sleep with a huge spiel about the UI and innovative features. It would also project a huge spectral image of Steve Jobs onto the ceiling so that he could observe how unworthy you were.

Actually, if it required Flash Player it wouldn't be able to do that...

Maplin charge £2:99 p&p for the clock, so cheaper @ Play!

Although it looks good, its a pile of ****. Poor design (though looks nice), really annoying voice, hard to program. Buy it for someone you hate..

I bought it from there when they had free postage.

I love it,i'm obsessed by the temperature thingy lol

It's also good when you wake up in the night half asleep and want to know the time, as i can hear it rather than me trying to squint at my moby:-D

Q- Apple Talking Clock with Thermo N01GJ - In product features section, it is written that Talking time range is 7am to 9pm. What does that mean? If I press button at 12 midnight or 1 am it will not speak time? And it will speak time only between 7 am to 9 pm? - mehul patel

Answer- No, this can be set to automatically speak the time on the hour between 7am and 9pm.

That is Ludicrous! or am i confused? it speaks the time every hour but you have to set it between 7am and 9pm other wise it's to late or something? enlighten me HUKD Members!
