TalkTalk's essentials & plus packages are 50% off at the moment. That's £3.25 for Essentials per month and £7.25 for Plus which has unlimited calls and downloads.

Not surprised. Would never use them again.

They ave been voted the worst ISP for a reason. They seem to provide varied service, depending where you live. But from what I read, the majority customers seem unhappy. For this reason I wouldn't sign up with them if I had an alternative

Happy customer also, had free wifi modems, discounts off monthly payments .always been happy

Once bitten, twice shy.
If you want bad customer service, then this deal is for you.
Not for me, it not worth trying to save a couple of quid if you get charged a fortune if you have any issues with the phone line etc.

Stay well away - 6 months after I left they set up another direct debit with my bank without my consent - I was really annoyed! Luckily I saw it before they started taking money out. Very devious and naughty of them.

I have been with them for 4 years , no problems , i get discounts also !!

faster than all the other isp,s i have been with, no throttling, free modems , etc

lovely jubbley !!

I used to be with Tiscali until TalkTalk took them over and was more than happy until they decided they couldnt supply me with the TV service which I had had with Tiscali for past 3 years!

The problems start when you leave / change ISP !!

Okay, until you encounter issues. Then your nightmare starts. Customers services are poor.
Billing is poor. Arrogant attitudes.

Oh yes, Tisacli customers were migrated to TalkTalk billing, and many users suffered a price increase without notice. A breach of terms.

To add insult they now refuse to provide VAT invoices to home works. Most other ISPs provide VAT invoices. No VAT invoice = 20% increase in price.

They claim the service is not for business use. Instead of cutting you off they still offer you a home package? If homeworking is not allowed, then why offer a home package if you admit to it?
Why do they refuse to provide VAT invoices? It doesn't cost them anything.

When you leave, most ISPs cannot take over the line. It has to be taken over by BT.
But you can go to PlusNet (owned by BT) and move form there.

They charge existing customers higher prices than new customers. This is poor loyalty.
Loyalty counts for nothing.

TalkTalk Residential should NOT be offering TalkTalk Packages to Businesses and it messes up with provisioning the services and lack of care on Residential lines. Best bet is to state to the Sales Adviser to connect the call to TalkTalk Business team in the Midlands and arrange for telecoms that way. A hell of a lot better package in terms of value. Business Owners should stick to Business and Residential to Home.....I have a fantastic package with TalkTalk Business!! FREE Static IP, care on the line and own equipment, and serviced by Open Reach - Can't be bad for £23.45 (£10 BB) & £13.45 line!!

Had Tiscali for many years with no problem along come Talk Talk cue rubbish service. Seems they can Talk the Talk but not walk the walk
#18
£13.45 line rental? Expensive. Why should business line rental be any more than residential?
It's the same copper wire.

I just got line rental + broadband + evening and weekend calls for an equivalent of £10.81 a month with cashback! Bye Bye Tiscali/TalkTalk!
