Only for existing customers of Sky, BT or Plusnet. The deal is via money saving supermarket.

12 month contract.

£120 Love 2 Shop voucher which can be spent at:

https://www.highstreetvouchers.com/gift/where-to-spend-love2shop-vouchers

Free broadband for 12 months.

Line rental is £17.70 a month (£212.40 per annum), or £15.93 with line rental saver, (LRS), (12 months' of line rental unrefundable) which costs £191.16 up front.

Includes a free SIM with 100 minutes each month and free landline calls to other Talk Talk customers.

Mandatory router delivery cost, whether you want their router or not, is £6.75.

LRS £191.16 + £6.75 = £197.71 - £120 Love 2 shop voucher = £77.91 per annum, the equivalent of £6.49 a month.

Monthly line rental £212.40 + £6.75 = £219.15 - £120 Love 2 shop = £99.15 for the year, or £8.26 a month.

A bargaining chip worth using for those coming out of the ultra cheap Sky deal from last summer via MSE.

Been on tt for past 3y
No issues other than having to quickly replace their router with a linksys as it was very unstable

I have had a contract with them - before Sky, as has my mother, twice, my sister is currently with them. Although she is out of contract and through laziness is now paying the full price and my father has recently started a contract with them.

None of us were affected by the hacking breach and none of us have had reason to complain - so far and fingers crossed.

I've been with TalkTalk twice. I knew the second time, it was going to be a mistake, but it was so cheap. Luckily for me they got hacked with 9 months left on my contract! I ran away as fast as I could! Never again.

I have had a nightmare with talk talk, during my contract and since. Wouldn't go with them again. The logo alone raises my blood pressure.

I'm with kt21 on this, customer service so poor that I'd turn them down if offered service for free, try me TalkTalk, I'll be happy to prove it.

Despite leaving tt over a year ago, i'm still getting bogus calls from 'them' trying to get me to turn on my pc so they can 'fix it' ...' I string them along a bit & amuse myself by trying to confuse them (not difficul

TalkTalk are utter ****, avoid them no matter what. Best thing I ever did was leaving them

Talktalk are ok. been with them about 8 years now. Whenever my contract is due for renewal i get another cashback deal that temps me back to a new one. I have plus tv, fibre broadband and 3 mobile sim cards. They almost pay me to stay with them.

My first ever broadband provider.. I was very gullible.

Nothing's ever free. Not even the 12 months broadband offer where you only pay line rental and then £3.50 per month for the reminder of the 18 month contract.

That soon changed to £5 and then £7.50. then the line rental went up.

Had problems with the broadband and got threatened with I'll have to pay if it's a fault with a line in my house as it isn't theirs. They came, messed around a bit and then changed my router.

When the hack scandal came about I never had an email about leaving before the contract was up. So I rang Africa and India a few times and got fobbed off from pillar to post. I got offered a laugh able £15 to stay.

I ran as quick as I could when they said oh you didn't get the email so you can leave your contact early free of charge :)

Cheap may not be always the best option

Terrible. Connected 2 August and all fine. Disconnected 26 August without notice having paid a year's line rental up front and claim they "can't" reconnect. Still waiting for them to explain how they will resolve.

I was with TT for 12 months before switching to Plusnet & had no issues with the broadband or phone, only switched to Pnet as MSE had a deal offering cash back at the time,I had a few issues initiallly with them, customer service hotline took 45 mins to get thru,I'll be switching again in December to the best deal available

is it because your connection has been erroring for a few days and they need to change your IP address?
#17
I echo the sentiments here. TalkTalk potentially are great until something goes wrong and then you suddenly realise how bad the customer service is.
#18
i found their huwaei HG633 router is utterly unusable with their fibre service. there is a !!HUGE!! long running thread on their forums about it. The only fix is to buy your own router and set it all up manually.

We had problems for the whole of the 18 months contract. We switched to Post Office and problems stayed. Within 2 weeks they got BT engineer out to test the line right the way back to the green box.

Turns out there was a break in the line. TT would not accept there was a problem and blamed to many users on the same router. BT fixed the issue within 14 days (messed the driveway up a bit though, but we can live with that)

We found out the post office use Talk Talk as a provider, so won't be renewing it.

quite a few ISPs use TalkTalk wholesale services for backhaul. don't worry about that because tt wholesale are good.
#21
Really rubbish ,last month my internet stopped for 14 days and 5-6 times called and nearly spent one one hour on just wasting time on phone and not sorted out as well nearly 14 days very bad experience

Been with TT since 2012, service wise it has been spot on no drop outs etc (mainly coz i have my own vdsl router). Unfortunately my contract with them due to expire in Dec and if i renew the 500 global minutes boost will be removed. These international minutes along with talk2go app (any mins free from landline would be free from the app aswell) no other ISP had this. Moving to plusnet once my contract ends.
