Good deal if you like weak coffee! Prefer Caffe Nero myself but its a great price for a tall latte.

A latte is supposed to be a milder coffee, if you want it stronger ask for another shot. If you want to be more authentically Italian about coffee, don't drink it in the afternoon - stick to a proper espresso.

Why Costa or Nero never do silly deals like that?
Starbucks is really struggling.

Is "tall" the one that's actually small?

Yep. Starbucks list their sizes as 'Tall', 'Grande' and 'Venti', which are actually small, medium and large respectively.

Hot for the deal which gives 80p off a £2.30 latte.

As for the coffee commentary, each to his own.
I use all the coffee chains. They all have different tastes that's for sure. It's good to have that variety and choice.
I like a Starbucks in the morning as its milky. And a nero in the afternoon as it tends to be strong.
Pret for mid morning. As you can tell I drink a lot of bought coffee.

Starbucks near my work/home always does well. There a younger vibe there with more people using wifi or with kids.
Nero seems to be for middle aged people like me. :-)

Also look out for the tesco owned Harris and Hoole chain. They make great coffee. Just a little bit more expensive than others which puts me off.

Coffee lovers with O2 phones. Don't forget to check the priority app. £90 worth of coffee for £45 recently.

Exactly, some people like the convenience of stale coffee and wasting money at the same place.

yeah, I was wondering why they call the smallest one "tall", I did know about the others, but originally they had short and tall; with 8 and 12 fl oz each;
And I think they dropped the short later on

out of curiosity:
Grande means large in italian (and french, spanish, portuguese...). - they have 16 fl oz (an american pint I think?)
venti, trenta are like 20, 30 in italian, and they're name as they have 20 and 30 fl oz each

This is a good deal, and i wish it was for somewhere else. I no longer go to starbucks after finding out they avoid paying corporation tax

Yeah, the fact that they've got rid of certain sizes used to confuse me. You can't call a small a Tall and a medium a Grande!

For those curious people, Starbacks in some countries have 'short'size which is really tiny, just not available in uk.

There's always at least one bell end who has to mention tax.
#22
Why?, does starbucks do this offer periodically on tall latte only??. I buy a Venti black americano every day, how about an offer on Americano's !

ding dong.

it wouldnt be mentioned if they had done the decent thing and paid their fair share.
#24
But this is about deals, not whining about tax so **** off and do your moaning elsewhere.

I didn't type the expletive hidden by the *'s that it looks like I did. It was slightly less offensive and contained six letters and begun with a b.
