OK car but the poorest of its peer group (Merc, BMW, Jaguar, Audi). Merc styling has gone to pot recently too: "Hmm, wonder what it would do if we put another swage line down here....and here....there's a bit here we missed". Nothing special these days - just another German motor relying on a reputation from when they were carved from solid. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/mercedes/e-class
BANG ON!
It does look better than the 5 series though. A6 looks nice but the rear is off putting.
And the XF is way ahead of them all - old model or new.
have you driven an xf. Good for those that don't like driving

Ooh errr....have YOU driven an XF?

Just my 2 cents....

Gig one of the estate e class leases about 3 months back and couldn't recommend it more. Had an audi before and love the simplicity and styling on this car. Drives great aswell. In my mind don't hesitate - if you're looking for a practical great car then get one at this price as it's a steal!
Arent these deals all business prices?

What are Target leasing like? Would love a Merc, but thought it would be cheaper direct from my local dealer? Obviously not!

not sure but its dodgy they are trying to sell gap insurance for a lease. my leasing company (Tilsun) couldn't legally reccomend a gap insurance provider. and reading between the lines the guy told me there's no need for gap insurance on a lease because the value is always weighted towards the leasing company.

My sister owns a business, is there anything to stop me getting a lease deal in her name and drive it myself?
new b here..
Gap insurance is a must have on these car? If yes whats the approximate charges? Or does the gap ins also charge the same way as normal insurance company do?

Hi, I'm new to leasing, what does it mean when it states 9+23, do you have to pay extra these months? Thanks in advance.

the 9 relates to the down payment which works out at 9 x the monthly rental. You pay the down payment in one lump and then pay 23 payments at the price quoted. Looks a great deal for a £38k car as the effective cost is less than depreciation over the 2 years if you shelled out £38k to buy it.
Great deal for sure

With a lease, if the initial payment is 3 months, and say it came to £900, does that mean I don't pay for the first 3 months of the lease? Or is it like, pay your initial payment of 3 months, then the following month pay your monthly rental?
Nope, you will still have to pay every month. The first payment is the equivalent of 3 months it has no bearing on time.
This deal is 24 monthly payments, the first monthly payment is the equivalent of 9 monthly payments and then 23 following monthly payments of the single amount.
