You can get a similar one without the light from Poundland.

In this day and age who needs a USB hub? I can't think of a time when I'd ever need more than 3things plugged in at once and what computer doesn't have at least 3 USB ports? I'm using a netbook to type this and it has 3! If you are running out of USB ports I'd save your money and buy a better PC rather than a USB hub.

3 ports on a lappy or 4 ports on a desktop are both pretty much are the normal minimum these days. That's enough for most people.
