This looks like a good deal, certainly cheap enough but.... The part number doesn't come up with this item on the Targus website. The closest has a Z on the end and appears to be a car charger:thinking:

Another thing to bear in mind before buying is that it may not contain a tip that actually fits what you want it to. Would be easy enough to bodge up an adaptor but still.....

This is the closest I could find btw, not sure if it's the same thing.

Would 1 of these fit a Logitech G25 24V - 0.75A wheel? or an alternative?

cant find a UK replacement and the US logitech site dont deliver to uk.

I read somewhere online, that a guy fried his g25 using a after market PSU.

cheers

Doesn't tell you anything. I already looked  Was hoping it would show how the voltage is set but no, just the same pic with labels in a million different languages saying 'this is a plug', 'this is another plug' etc :w00t:

I'll have a scoot around see if I can find anything else on this bit of kit. Only thing I've found so far is that it's typically £60+ (hence why I posted)

I've seen it at £75  Definitely a hot deal if it works with your particular laptop, not so hot as a mobile phone charger if it doesn't though :w00t:

I just wish boffer would post proper info rather than the childish crap they put on everything ;-)

I'm finding no more info really, other than what's in this thread. I would guess that it works as a laptop/notebook charger fine (with the various adaptors). It is very similar to the one I use with my laptop and fairly gutted as I paid £60 a few weeks ago for this one (but I needed it at the time after my cat chewed through the original). The Power adaptor itself is well worth the money and if it works with your mobile phone then bingo, a bonus.

Robot, ebay comparisons not allowed really, but as it's you :-D

Well it does look a bit beasty. [email protected] = 3.75A, [email protected] = 6A. As Clarkson would say...

We have one of these in the office and you can "dial" the voltage to suit. I think off the top of my head that ours can be set from 15v to 20v depending on what you're plugging into it.
Having said that, 15v is a bit too beefy for a phone, most of the ones that I deal with charge at around 3.8v.

If you go to the targus website http://www.targus.com/uk/product_det...sp?sku=APA01EU and click on "tips" under accessories you get a click here link which will tell you your laptop compatability etc.
infact just click here http://www.targus.com/uk/accessories_power_tips.asp
