The 25 year was £20 in on of my locals too.

I didn't pick any up as I wasn't sure what it was like (the 25, or the 30).

This any good? Never heard of it. One review mentions peaty undertones, other says no hint of peat at all? Quite partial to ardbeg and caol ila so a kick of peat would be quite nice.

I am sitting drinking some now. Very nice. No peat though, nothing like an Islay malt.

You need the 9yr old Bowmore at £15.

I thought that. This offer was posted already this morning. The comments in this post are more useful. No one earlier had tried it. I picked up a 25yr and the last 30yr at my local. No reviews for the 25yr on ASDA web site but 30yr had 3 very positive reviews.

This has got to be worth a punt at £25. You'll struggle to get a decent 12 year old malt for that price. No doubt the snobs will have something to say - but if they stop bottling, these could increase in value.

Down the lot in one go, trash the house, black out and find yourself **** naked eating fries off the 24hr mcdonalds toilet floor.

The big asda in Clapham, London, wasnt doing the roll back in store, however, I tried to order click and collect online for the 30 yr old for the deal price. Just got a phone call saying they replaced it with the Dalwhinnie winter gold in my order. These supermarkets are v. annoying, no option to suspend the order or anything. Just had to cancel. Might try reordering but I really dont want to go through the whole process again. And its probably not even worth it, even if the whisky older than myself.

I got the 30 for £25. It's nice.. Yes it's a blend but even the grain whiskys have been maturing in cask for 30 years and have a deep complexity to them. Way better than Jonnie walker black label and most single malts at this price point.
