So angry when I saw this deal as I just bought one from Comet this morning.... ahhh back to shop again for refund...
aplogise asked for it to be unspammed

that's a different cheaper model mate, this one has Brita filter etc
Could someone please tell me the difference between the one on this thread and this one below and should i take this one back and buy the one from argos??

I would stay away from this one personally, the filters are gonna cost you an arm and a leg and will need changing regually.

The only difference is the newer one has a lcd display which seems a bit useless, britta filter (see above)

Voted hot as its a good price.
thanks, what exactly does the britta filter do??
Its just a water filter , i think they are around £10 for 2

I paid £69.99 for the older model from Amazon which doesn't have the LCD display or the Filter, and it's really fantastic, I use it every day.
The Tassimo pods are £3.28 in most supermarkets, I've seen them on 2 for £6 occasionally but that's around the price you pay. How many you get for that varies from 8 - 16 depending on the type of drink. The portion sizes are not overly generous but not tiny either. Like a combi coffee will have 8 espresso + 8 latte creamers which is 16 pods but only makes 8 drinks. The standard coffees are 16 that only use one pod.
The "Milka" one makes an absolutely fantastic cup of hot chocolate!
I don't know how much advantage the filter has, I drink tap water and don't filter so it's not something I'd pay extra for but I can see some people would like it.
Currys are selling them too and will price match Argos deal plus usual 10% difference. Their current online price is 119£ so it could potentialy come to just 63£... I got mine from argos earlier today (Comet have refunded me without questions) but used a lot of nectar points. Otherwise I would go to Currys...
Thanks for the post heat and Rep added, but ive actually just gone for the dolce gusto one they also have on offer in argos and i wouldnt have know if i hadnt seen your post that they were on half price.

it cost me £63 which was a little bit more bit it comes with a starter kit which consists of 2 cups and a mix of 16 different coffee pods to try it with.

Big Thanks

you can now also get 5£ voucher from Argos, every penny counts :)
What a good deal, my friends paid a lot more than this a few weeks ago! :santa:
