£1.20 for a pack Tassimo pods is a great price. Long shelf date until January 2018. They taste really nice as well, will be going back for more later. I have no idea if it's a national deal and I couldn't find them online, worth a look if you are going to your local Asda. Found these at the Thurmaston branch.

I'm a bit confused by all the Carte Noire offers just now - I think they've rebranded as L'Or, but the two brands were different groups. Maybe Carte Noire were bought by Dowe Egberts parent company, and rebranded?

I just assumed L'or was a new brand, is it not?

Douwe Egberts sold the Carte Noire brand to Lavazza in 2015 and are now busy selling the brand thru as their interim rights to continue to use the name are expiring. L'Or isn't a new brand on the continent and clearly is now being launched here to fill the Carte Noire gap.

That would explain why Tassimo seem to be replacing the Carte Noir pods with L'or. Makes more sense now. Thanks.

Thanks, managed to get last couple from Blackpool store. No price info on shelf, so had to check at till but £1.20 :)

I got them for £1 in any ASDA I have found them in lately and 50p in Sainsbury's if any left

had some from Queensferry. all gone now tho.
