Tastecard for 12 months- Special offer £29.95 instead of £79.95

RudessRudess

Usually cost £79.95 per year, but with code JN12 you can get it for £29.95. Quite useful if you go often to restaurants, they have 6300 restaurants across the country where you can either get 50% off food bill or 2-4-1 .

Hot from me. I don't understand why Tastecard deals go cold. Yes you can get 2 month trials but a faff ongoing.

If I use this twice I get the £29.95 back. It makes starter, main and dessert 241 at many main chains like Pizza Express and has some great local restaurants on it. I ordered mine 2 days ago and hope it will be here soon. When I had the trial I saved over £100 with some nights out for birthdays.

As good a price as you'll ever get. Better than messing around with short term free trials. Well recommended from personal experience.

I'll wait for another 3 month free trial - don't believe in spending money on money off vouchers

Before buying this check how many restaurants in your area are in the scheme and be aware the majority that are don't allow you to use your tastecard on a Friday or Saturday. Having said that it should still pay for itself after a couple of visits

hot for me, saved about £200 with mine

Ordered...as my free one expires in a week's time...I've saved the £29 in one booking. Seems crazy not to have one.

Great to see there are some people who can appreciate a good deal here. Can't really understand how it doesn't get more appreciation, while an awful deal of a sofa that costs £350 gets more than 400 degrees...

And if there won't be? and wouldn't it be more comfortable to have flexibility and have it for the whole year for just £30? why do think that you should get something like that for free?!

Just ordered mine as my trial one as just ran out and i cant get another free trial one as they are limiting them to new customers!!
i have saved more than £29.95 in one restaurant visit, thanks

don't forget that it will auto renew every year, they do send you a reminder email but that one goes to junk mail while the successful renewal gets through ok!

You can always put yourself a reminder in outlook, not to forget the renewal date :-)

I like the idea of these, as places like Groupon charges you the entire price of the meal in advance and are generally rubbish-average establishments, whereas these are proper restaurants.

I managed to win one of these for a year and it's already saved me about £75 in the space of 2 months. Like realfriendlyman says, the voucher-buying sites often have deals for restaurants which need to improve their reputation so are often not that great, whereas many of the establishments on Tastecard are fully fledged restaurants with very good reviews (and also not so good but at least you have a happy medium). New establishments are added often.

Shame it's being voted cold from people who obviously don't know how much it can save if used a couple times each month. Great deal and well worth it.

Even if you just use it once a month, you cover the cost of the card of two times eating at any restaurant.

How do they work? Do you show it to the restaurant upon arrival or when you get the bill? Are there restrictions on what you can order such as set meals? Thanks.

You can either show it upon arrival or when you get the bill. You need to check the relevant restaurant on the tastecard website before going, some of them require advanced booking, in some the card won't be available on Friday-Saturday. Just check before you go to the restaurant of your choice.

    Thanks Rudess

    Many thanks for this.

be wary with these they've changed lots of the rules - places that used to allow friday/saturday use now don't - places that used to let you show up and use it with no booking, suddenly (even when empty) refuse to let you use the card unless you'd booked in advance ...it's not as good a deal as it once was
