Better to buy british sugar though, made in this country. Not just for the patriotic value but the unnecessary transportation of goods we can grow ourselves.

Definatly one for the home brewers - time to stock up.

Yes, but is British sugar Fair Trade? Have you seen the hours those poor John Deere tractors are forced to work in the fields, harvesting beet through the day & night, for no wages. Slavery it is.

Unless you want it for preserving - beet sugar results in loads of scum.

Oh good, going to buy some this afternoon. SIL had a baby boy on Monday and I said I'd make some little christening favours with tablet in them, so I'll get the sugar now and make the tablet next month before the christening! Also quite handy because Farmfoods is near the wool shop so I'll kill 2 birds with one stone.

Heat added, thanks!

NOTE TO ALL READERS -
I work at Farmfoods, the sugar we sell on offer 2 for £1 is NO LONGER Tate & Lyle, due to lack of supply, we were forced to get it from a different supplier. It is now Whitworths. Still pretty good deal though.

Still the same deal imo? I dont really mind if i get silver spoon or tate & lyle as long as it sweetens my cuppa!! :)
