Great stuff, but blooming heck does it transiently hurt. Try putting it on a big graze if you are a part time masochist :-)

Maybe 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending, but boy does it sting. I wouldn't say I was a masochist but the short rush of blood to the head is quite entertaining :-)

hurt like hell, but quite useful when u are going on camp or soemthing

also very good for sealing in any dirt that might be in the wound. A great idea but make sure you have thoroughly cleaned the wound before using this.

£6.66 for a 2nd skin is a hugely inflated price
#11
Yeah, it stings like hell but it's a damn good price. Personally, I prefer superglue!

I wonder if one sprays this 4 times on oneself, would they get a foreskin?

Yes, I can vouch for that. I came off my bike on the ice a few days ago and sprayed it on the graze.

Once I'd stopped screaming it was fine. Handy if you don't have a big plaster.

TCP is magic stuff, it's all I was given as a kid for cut's and grazes etc. It does hurt but it's a strangely enjoyable hurt as you know it is doing you good, kind of getting all the pain out in a shorter space of time. Will have a look for this tomorrow.

TCP's the stuff of men!!

Err, was that Walker's Baked a 6-pack Dieter? If so - i'll be out hunting for that too!!

Hey, I notice you seem to have got some of that Nivea After Shave Balm at the reduced price £1.50.

I'm envious. I made a special trip to Tesco (Bursledon, Southampton) but they didn't have any of the Anti-Irritant one, which I believe is the reduced one, and all the other types were full price :x

why would you want to seal in dirt?

why would you want to seal in dirt?

Well you don't do you? which is the point Helenhugs was making. Obviously wounds should be cleaned as well as possible before using any dressing.

I just remembered one very good use that I have employed spray plaster for; I occasionally have nasty bouts of eczema on my hands, fortunately much less often than when I was younger, but when it flares up the cracks in the skin makes it feel like I have been juggling hot coals :-( Using spray plaster means, after the initial agony (ecstasy :) ) I can use my hands pretty much as normal. Superb stuff.

the can does advise to clean the cut using a antiseptic first before using the product, some places are selling it this £7 plus

Excellent price, I think I was about £4 for the last can I bought.

I bought this stuff for use on cuts and grazes I pick up in my martial arts training, and the few seconds of pain you get when you spray this stuff on broken skin is much worse than anything I`ve felt during training (including torn muscles). Funnily enough, on the can is does mention the spray might produce a `slight warming sensation`. More like lava being poured on your skin. :-D

It`s also worth using this stuff only in a well ventilated space, as the smell is quite foul (to me at least).

Still, the benefits of the spray well outweigh the negatives. Good find.
