1 to 2 months delivery...

I ordered some before they canceled the order.

Don't know why this is expired. I've just ordered some for £7.34, admittedly its still with the caveat 1-2 months delivery. Go to the '17 new from £6.99' link to a new page, Amazon's Jersey Merchant is there for £7.34.

If you check the sainsburys website that deal has expired, plus tdk discs are also very good quality.

see http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/sol/shop/technology/computing/list.html?search=verbatim&hnav=4294960198

I bought some Verbs @ Sainsbury the other day for 7.50, depends on the store i guess. Even @ £10 their website is showing i'd rather pay the extra for the Verbs, the MIT discs are as good as it gets.

And no waiting 1-2mths :)

Nope, these discs are junk. "TDK" branding means nothing. They don't make their own discs, so "tdk discs are good quality.." is meaningless. The quality of TDK depends on what they are reselling, which varies a lot, within the TDK branding, as with many other brands like Verbatim. You can get utter rank or the finest quality, within the same looking containers. A clue is the 'Made in' on the packaging... if it's 'Made in Japan' chances are it's decent. These however are the cheapest moser baer from India. Horrible stuff.

Just had an e-mail from amazon informing me the discs will be despatched sooner than expected, June 29.

Anytime I'm in my local Sainsbury's I look for the verbatim discs and they never have any in stock.

nah ive found these discs pretty good and not far off verbatims. I have burnt hundreds.

That said theres a pc world offer for £7.50 for verbatims so go with that.

now dropped to £6.99

As I have said these are some of the worst moser baer dye formulations I do not have the DVD identifier code to hand as I'm dual booting but.. I assure you...dont listen to that other guy, any idiot can burn media of this ilk, the burns will be of poor quality with high error rates, poor compatability, the discs damage easily and often become unreadable. Comments from the link itself show, lots of disgruntled customers. Do yourself a favour and pay an extra pound or more for something decent. Or really do yourself a favour, and find some decent Taiyo yuden cakes.

Here you go the mfr ID code is : MBI 01RG40
These are some of the worst discs on the planet
Check the following link, it IS the exact same stuff, but branded Verbatim
