PART 1
Hi.

Very interested in this TV as it seems to meet my wish list - a second TV, an alternative screen for a Netbook, media player for my MP3s. (and Freeview and DVD player).

Does any know where I can find a user manuals online?

Or if you have one, can you explain the "USB Media Player" feature. I assume (!!) I can plug in a memory stick full of MP3s and JPEGs and it will find them. What about plugging in a harddisk? Can you navigate by artist, album name ect?

Is there another TV I should be considering given my wish list?

Any info would be grateful for.
Many thanks Bry

PART 2

Did not get any replies, so went out and got the TV from Tescos!

On the whole please with it. Nice picture and sound; as a second TV not bad.
Two downsides:-
A bit slow changing channels and when in the menus etc.
The manual is lazy. Keep coming across info that say 'Press this to turn XYZ on or off', but does not tell you want XYZ is!

To answers my own questions incase anyone is interested...
Could not find manual online and looking at it in the shop tells you very little.

I attached a small USB memory stick and a 1TB harddisk and it recognise both.

The media player interface is crude. You first have to choose music , movie or photo mode. Cannot have music playing while watching pictures. Then you crudely step through any drives and folders found on you device, select a file and it will play. In the repeat all mode it will move on to the next file found ect. There is a preview window to see the picture/movie before going to whole screen. It's all up/down, left/right arrows and slow.

Supports MP3, MPEG1, MPEG2, AVI, JPEG, BMP format files.
File systems supports FAT16, FAT32 & NTFS

I think I had in mind playing background music while working on a laptop but cannot do this as different 'input sources'. Also I wanted a 'central resource' for all my mp3, but without being able to search by artist name or album, this wil not be it.

Kept the TV but not sure I will be using the media features.
