Picture quality is pretty good on those Technika's, its the tinny bassless sound that lets it down!

Good price for a 42" 1080 :)

"50Hz picture frequency"
Killer for me. The 32" one I have is ok but I have seen better (literally!)

Heat for the deal though.

would rather pay the extra and take a loss of screen size to be honest -

though if you want 42" and dont mind running 720p then take this -

Agreed, get the sammy for a few quid more

Tesco are really trying to push Technika as a brand that can compete with the likes of Samsung, lower the prices you mongs.

I'd rather pay a bit more for a decent brand. I got a 22" one with DVD and I-pod dock integrated and it packed in after 5 months!

They tried to send it away for repair but I was having none of it, ended up getting a store credit and getting a 32" Bravia for an extra £100.

The reviews look surprisingly half decent for an own brand TV so on that basis I'd say it must be decent for the money - hot.

Good Find OP

My technika uses a samsung LCD and looks fine

I bought 3 22" with DVD freeview and iPod dock. Two had to be replaced for different reasons but I must admit unless yr signal level is 80%+ the freeview won't work so the kids tvs can literally only play DVDs :-(

hot, should be hotter!
