"2.5 hour video playback"... what formats does it play?

How do you charge the battery? Is this only via USB or do you get a mains adaptor? Think this could be a Christmas present for my father, looks simple to use.

With the sim card the total is 3p short of the £20 required to use the discount code. I wondered why it wouldn't let me use the £5 off code, doh!

Order 2 and use the £5.00 off... would still save you the price of the 2 sims which would be the same as free delivery!

I also bought that one from argos, shame it doesn't have an fm! Although, the wharfedale has a touch screen, and this is more expensive if you're going to add delivery to it, so it kinda balances out? Still a hot deal!

:x I'm sooo annoyed it's untrue. Phoned both local Tescos near us and one said they had 6 in stock. Rushed over there to find there was none...nada... not a happy bunny....went to customer services to see if they could find any, incase they were not on shelves or in another part of store where I hadn't looked, to be told that if they weren't there, then they didn't have them....*rap customer services if you ask me!!! It's feasible to think the staff bought them all in the 5 minutes it took me to get there....but they could have left me one :x voted hot though.

Had an email at 12.42 today saying back in stock...by the time I signed in they were out of stock again.

However, I managed to get 2 at Tesco Mayflower Park Basildon and there were still about 4 on the shelf..however, I pointed the offer out to a couple looking at the MP3s so there may be one less now !

I ordered one, Friday afternoon. I ordered it with some with some other items and used the voucher in the OP, to get free delivery, it all came today, Monday........Though it doesn't appear to have a driver with it... I haven't opened it yet.

The funny thing was, I bought a set of pliers, and they were very well wrapped and in their own package. The MP3 player was tossed into a larger sack with other tools, unwrapped, but in it's own packaging. Looks to be ok, undamaged.....Nice find Edi.

Thanks.

I just ordered one and it let me - should I expect an out of stock email?

Hi,

I purchased one of these and no matter what I try the transcoder supplied software does not appear to convert any of my videos (avi's)! Has anyone had any success with the software? Any suggestions? Does anyone know of any other software I can use that coverts avi's to the stupid smv format?

Thanks,
G

back in stock.

Unfortunately at the original price which I don't think its worth. I got one last week for my mum who is going into hospital in the next couple of weeks. Having used it I wish I'd got one myself. Yeah navigation is a bit clunky but for £17.50 I'd be happy with it. Shame they don't open source the firmware.

Cheers

got one myself, its back to original price now :(. the navigation is not the greatest, but for the price its great value, and yes being able to install 3rd party firmware like http://www.rockbox.org/ would make this little player a steal.

the only real gripe i have, is not being able to resume from where you left off after the unit is switched off..... if anyone has figured out how please let me know, otherwise great little player :)
