Use voucher: XXR968 (expires 15-03-09)

Since Argos stopped selling the Bush machine, this is by far the best price on the market.

There's a little info about this on the net.

Review: http://www.reevoo.com/reviews/ean/5051790913129
AVF discussion: http://www.avforums.com/forums/blu-ray-dvd-players/884900-tesco-technika-blu-ray-player-gbp150.html

It has an ethernet connection, but there's no mention of BD-Live support/upgrades.

Also, don't fotget 3% TopCashBack/Quidco.

You can save on delivery by collecting from a store. Probably not worth bothering with the SIM card refund trick, as according to many posters on here, they've stopped accepting them.

Thanks for this :)

I take it this has not bitstreaming or the like??

Good price for a basic blu-ray player, revieved my bdp-s350 2day tho :) Still hot
#5
is there any benefit in payng more if ur not a tech head and jus wanna watch ur blu ray??
#6

:? Very unenlightening... please no one waste 2 minutes of your life reading the AVF 'discussion', it tells you nothing but the mental age of the posters on that site.
The Reevoo review leaves more questions than answers. Why's it so hard to find the AV channel and why do they have to leave it on standby all the time?
Edit: HOT by the way. It's cheap and it's got to look better than my current upscaled DVDs do.

charger is amazing- enlightening may alla pour blessings

If anyone knows the technika brand you will know it will be of poor quality and break down after a month - cold because of the brand and because when somethings cheap theres usually a reason for it
#9
lol technka stuff is usually **** i ceartinly wouldnt waste the cash on there own blu ray...my poor m8 had one of there mini hifi`s of which it was taken back 4 times in the first 3 months and then finally refunded,,,

What are you wasting your time on this site for then? You'll never buy anything, because it must be carp (anagram)!

Eh??

why not do what i did, convince the OH that instead of a blu-ray we might as well pay a bit extra for the ps3 as we would then have a sony blu-ray player and we could get fun games like singstar and the likes (ie cod4/cod5/killzone)
#13
^^ yeah and it matches the black tv
#14
This looks like it came from a Christmas cracker. It won't be long before big brands have £99 blu-ray players. I would hang on to be honest.
#15
Buy a PS3.
#16
More Quali tat :)

Cheap n cheerful

It's cheaper now to buy an Xbox 360 and a separate Bluray player.

Prob true but the PS3 blu-ray player gets better reviews that most around that price. And you'd also have the advantage of free online gaming etc etc. Not an owner of either console yet by the way before anyone ***** me - just stating a few facts!
#20
well ive got this player being delivered this friday for £88.52 from tesco,so i will let you know if its any good soon.
#21
I have one ordered to, worth a punt for the price,I agree you can get a ps3 but not for 83 quid. If no good will go back to tesco, nothing lost.

i used to work in tesco eletrcial and the amount of returned technika stuff was ridiculous - always the same faults if they sell it for like £80 it probably cost them £25 to make

Im all for bargains/mis prices but this isnt just because its cheap doesnt mean its good
#23
Maybe cheap but is it worth it, maybe alot of hastle if it brakes, would rather pay more for a good brand name like Sony, atleast a get what im paying for. (quality, features, etc). Got a 360, plus if you buy a ps3 instead of this just for blu-ray you will want games aswell and its gonna cost more. Heard ps3 is'nt that great of a blu-ray player
#24
Coming up as £146.78 for me?? The voucher is for £13 off a £90 spend, how do you get it for £83??
#25
gone back up......

Talk about good brands, come on microsoft is a good brand and look how many sh**t xbox,s did they sell. i purchased a new humax pvr before xmas and it was a bag of cr** and had design faults such as noisy fan etc, I purchased a samsung camera and the pictures it produced were rubbish compaered to my nikon and olympus. What i am trying to say is big names don,t always mean great products.

#32
im a sony gal..... makes no sense but im happy there!
#33
player arrived 1 hour ago.looks the part.silent in operation.dont have blu ray disc to try at moment.but have tried dvd.loads dvd quickly about 10 seconds.upscales normal dvd as good if not better than my denon 1940 player,so if it does as good a job playing blu ray as normal dvds then im happy.will let you know more later.
#34
right just watched 30 mins of tomb of the dragon on blu ray.took 20 secs to load, which is quick going by reports of the top brand models.it as setting for 24 fps, picture quality stunning on both settings ie 24fps on or off.if the player keeps working its a bargain,if not it goes back.i must say for the price i paid its amazing
#35
Watching 'Kill Bill Blu Ray' on mine and am very impressed.
#36
Watched Transformers blu ray on mine and dark knight dvd upscaled on it.
