I have the model before this one, sometimes the picture is not full screen and there is nothing you can do as tried everything.
I have the model with the blue light and no lcd display.
Does anyone know how to stop the above happening.

yes easy, get 20 quid and buy this one :)

Does it support USB recording, or am I expecting too much?

Look at you all laa dee daa with your USB's and your recording :p. Not with this bargain basement one unfortunately.

Good deal though since it includes 1yr warranty! I'm well tempted, just wandering whether to stump up a lot more for one with built in recording instead.

Had one but didnt last 6 months as it started freezing up all the time. Now I got an Echostar Freesat HD and seems good so far.

Rubbish these boxes, freeze, lockup and need unplugging regularly.

Had this at least 6 months. Great box. HD quality excellent. Just watched the footy :)

Itv4 freezes sometimes during the tennis but I think that's the channel not the box.
    Hadouken!
Bought this as a refurb - never had a problem with it
Channel Zero have updated the firmware fairly consistently and as long as you've got the latest version installed, you shouldn't have an issue.

There is a USB port on the back but it is solely for flashing the firmware. Great little box for the bedroom. Ahem.

Bought 3 of these boxes a few months back all worked perfectly except one which was died after 2 days usage, was replaced promptly by Tesco then their replacement box had glitches once again replaced with much fuss so I can praise the warranty services.

2 of the boxes which never had faults since purchase have been plugged in 24/7 with no issues. Can't ask for more for £20 works smoothly plus its a HD box and you can use full screen if necessary.

Add £10 more and you get a brand new i-Can Easy HD 2851T which is far superior to this Tesco made one, so cold from me! ;)

Was wondering about this, so the i-can is definitely better? Whats the remote like?

I'm a big fan of the i-can. Interface is good, remote is good, and has BBC iPlayer.

I have this... VERY slow at changing channels, especially HD ones. Works OK apart from feels very clunky. I do not use it so for me it was cheap BUT useless.
