I bought these beg of last year when Tesco reduced them to £5, hot at £1.They are well worth that, not bad quality and they take up very little room in your suitcase
#4
They actually work with iphone 2g! I bought 2 but I am thinking of going back and buy 2 more....

these are good speakers, they are bigger than your average travel speakers and take AA batteries.
#11
Note - they take 4 AAA batterys - not AA (which is a bit of a pain as AAA are harder to come by and more expensive). They do come with a set of AAA batteries included though, and have a DC power in socket.
Also they have an adapter which will will fit the normal or mini headphone jack, so at this price they are voted Hot!!!
They had loads in stock in Tesco exeter
#12
still £6.82 in my local store.

Just brought 3 in SLough store. Only problem is that I have opened 2 and the batteries were leaking. Took them back to the store where I was told that I could return them or get new ones but both entailed filling in some forms. So I just bough 2 set of batteries which cost more than the 3 speakers. Still heat added.
#14
Also you get a bag for it. Can't believe this price, the batteries would cost more than a £1! Yes the good thing is you can plug a standard adapter (6 volts). And still can't get over the fact that they work with the iphone! Brilliant.

Do they work with other mobile phones as well? looking for something to play music on my holidays.....

It was marked as this on the shelf on my local score but scanned at £1 - did you get them to scan it to check?

It will if you have the standard 2.5 or 3.5mm headphone socket. If not, you would need an adapter

Thanks for the heads-up Higgzy - speakers scanned in at £1 although was labelled as being £6.82. If u see the item at the latter price, make sure you get it scanned at the counter to confirm.

The funny thing about this is that i bought a couple of these as tesco last year, i went on holiday with my family and rented out a villa, we would set these up to either our ipods or our phones (if you have the headphone bit) next to our pool and relax! They were asolutely brilliant, great quality however as they were battery powered the didn't last a lifetime but lasted a couple of days on full volume and i had them on all day!! The bad thing is that when the batteries are low, a horrid crackly combined with your song is emmited so not very pleasant! I even had complaints top turn them down ;-) but now i have found out a market near me a guy sells them for me to 50p even better! I'm telling you know you just cannot go wrong!! :-D
