One man's meat
Don't like it, cold.
I bought a non-solar Casio watch in 2002 and it's still running fine on the original battery. :)
The watch looks fine, the retailer needs to sort out their website, it keeps freezing up.
My four year old Oceanus Casio is still running on original solar-powered battery and so is its 8 year old Casio predecessor.

I'm after a decent dehumidifier and saw this one advertised in the daily paper. It says a saving of £60. After a quick google I am aware that you can buy this at this same price at a few places. Bef…

hi has anybody try to get spares for dehumidifier ? no one will get anything because they have not got any spares. Their website also gives wrong information ie no spares department.
Some good responses but has anyone actuaaly got one that they can tell us about?
We have an Ebac dehumidifier as well, it's brilliant. Originally had a desiccant type which I wasn't impressed with, but the Ebac works much better. We use it in a three bedroom house mainly to dry clothes indoors. Couldn't live without it, especially at this time of year!

This is the one we have...Ebac 2650e

I'd recommend that you google "Dehumidifier Types" to compare desiccant dehumidifiers against compressor based dehumidifiers.
Google DD122FW :)
I highly recomend the EBAC 2650e Dehumidifier, its £189.99 I know, but its quality and comes with a 5 year guarantee!

Costco - £49.something
Saw these in PC World last night for the same price.
pretty much the same price everywhere....nowt special about this price I'm afraid...
would rather buy from a retailer that I'd actually heard of.

Sorry - cold from me.
I was searching for a reason to vote this cold since I don't think disliking the product is a good enough one.

Is there even a price cut on this? It's cheaper here anyway, and the same price at John Lewis, who I'd much prefer to order from if I wanted this product, which I don't.

....there's always a place to put it out of the sun....visible....and protected from the weather....

You can wreck a tank by dropping it on its nose from a great height.
No such thing as a "weatherproof" garden clock - Frost /ice/ Rain will eventually find its way in. Failing that the heat of the sun will melt and warp the face.
Cool! Ordered! Been after one of these for years. Great for having perfect time, when you're in the garden sunbathing.....
[quote=hassanm]Ihh've never heard of anyone keeping a clock in a garden[/quotei

I've never seen a garden gnome with a wristwatch, so it would be a small courtesy to them.

Pegjes44
The only problem is everybody knows it's not a real one, voted cold

Only if you forget to take it out of the box!! If its fitted high on a gable wall there will be no way of knowing
IMO it's enough to put a doubt into a burglars head, they're not usually that bright unless you live in a home surrounded by items worth a few million. In which case you'll attract a better class of thief.

A burglar will most often see an alarm box on the outside and rather than presume it's fake he will move on to the next soft target, probably your house. (not you, but anyone without any outside signs of an alarm)
