The best Technosonic is the one for sale in Woolies.

Here is the spec - http://tv.thomson-europe.com/en/Products/Thomson/32LB125B5

It is a re-badged Thomson and a very high spec'd tv. Allegedly it was sold for £999 earlier this year.

Check out the AV Forum discussion thread:

http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=394834&page=235

Hundreds of pages long and with more than 3500 posts! It has all the facts there, plus a lot of waffle - not necessarily factually supported.

The Tesco tv is not the same as the Woolies one that I am sure about. The techies on the AV Forum praise the Woolies version (although there has been a few snags with some of them (mine had a new power unit fitted as it happens; all very easy done at my convenience at home), they are very well received.

Happy reading!

The Tesco one has a pc input too, which I believe the woolies one doesn't? I get 10% discount at Tescos plus the usual quidco and clubcard points means I know which one I'm gonna get, unless I can find a decently priced 37" or 42".

If you mean VGA - the Woolies one does - c'mon guys, there is no comparision between a re-badged Thomson and a cheap, generic tv (not meant to sound hostile, just realistic).

I have the 37" Technosonic - in my opinion the HD picture looks nice. Colours are nice and crisp. However i'm not impressed with the SD picture. Also the motion blurring seems particularly bad on panning shots/ticker tapes/credits. I paid 699 for mine so taking it back and going for one of the Panasonic Vieras from Currys which look a great deal for a quality screen at the moment.

EDIT - That's the tesco one by the way

thanks for this i guess i wont be getting the tesco one

As I say though it is definitely a personal opinion - I was sort of happy with it until my dad who is picky started pointing faults out to me after which I couldn't watch without being distracted. As it's still a pretty big purchase for me I've made the decision that I need to be absolutely happy with the picture.

Also the tech support seems lacking - try googling technosonic lcd3751 - not a single review anywhere...

There's a 37" HD Ready LCD branded Bauer for £499 in Tesco as well.

Afraid I don't know much more info than this though
