Spotted these on a shelf instore, and in a large bulk pile near tills in Leighton Buzzard Morrisons.Sorry I didn't have time to note details, but from the details on the box this seems a good buy for an LED TV with good features, and a 2 year warranty. It was marked special purchase so assume whilst stocks last!

As per box markings..

Built in DVD Player
Ultra Slim LED
HD Ready 720P
USB - I assume this is so you can add a memory stick and record direct to USB as well as playback files?

I know Techwood isn't the best brand in the world, but why cold? if cold voters can please find me a better buy for the same price, size and features eg Slim LED with a 2 year warranty, I'm interested!
Hot from me too - great for kids room :-)
good price especially with newer tech ref led. £99- that's how much all those 14" tv/video combi's use to be from alba :)

That's what I thought, TBH I was a bit gutted as we had just got the new Alba 16" TV/DVD (529/5951) from Argos (Which BTW I discovered is produced by Zhenjiang Century Digital Technology Co, who seem to make most of the cheap brand sets it seems) which has been reduced to £99.99 (It's now the same price as the non DVD version, strange, but good!) as my son had a gift card for Christmas, and then we saw this in Morrisons!.Funny thing is, it is indeed replacing his older Samsung TeleVideo, which we bought from Argos in 2003 for £99.99.
The only better deal I could find was in Richer Sounds, for a Visual Innovations (also Century Digital) TV/DVD for £79.99, but no store near me had any left.Tesco's had a NON LED Technika for £95.00 under their offer, but it isn't showing on their website now, so probably sold out, and the offer ends today anyway. Hope that helps!
nice from me :-)
Still plenty of Stock in Leighton Buzzard for those interested, although I'd assume this is available nationwide?.Although the Morrisons deal still offers the best value for money, for those who can't get one in their store, here are some alternatives I've found for you, some DVD, some not...

Argos: Alba 16 Inch HD Ready Digital LCD TV (No DVD). Item: 529/4811 Was £99.99 Now £88.00 Until 22/2
Argos: Alba 16 Inch HD Ready LCD TV DVD Combi. Item: 529/5951 £99.99
Tesco: Technika 15.4 inch Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV with Freeview (No DVD)
Cat No: 206-7097 £100.00
Studio: Cello 15" HD Ready with Freeview LED LCD TV Was £149.99 Now £99.99
Asda: Luxor 16" LED TV HD Ready + Freeview (No DVD) Cat No: 505-758 Was £100 Now £85
Currys: Essentials C13DVDB10 13" HD Ready LCD TV with USB, DVD Was £149.99 Now £79.97
anyone now if this (or the ASDA one) are wall mountable?
Sorry for the late reply, but I'm pretty sure this has Vesa standard mounting holes, so would indeed be wall mountable, you simply need to use a suitable wall mount/bracket that supports the vesa size of the TV, which in this case is likely to be Vesa 75x75 or 100x100 (Just refers to the hole spacing). Most Wall mounts (Like the one I posted for £3.99 in B&M, which would be ideal for this BTW) support universal vesa sizes up to a certain screen size / weight, hope that helps. (_;)
good find, you've put alot of effort in to this thread. Have some heat from me.
I bought one of these tvs for my daughters room, realy pleased with it but I'm struggling to find a wall bracket that fits, they don't seem to allow for the dvd section on the back. If anyone can suggest anything??
the brakets you can get for the tecknica ones from tesco should work.they have a dvd in the same place.have a look in tesco.NOT THE SWIVEL TYPES THOUGH.
bought techwood tv/dvd about 6 months ago brilliant buy well worth £99
i cant seem to get the usb working? what channel do you have to put it onto?
