My friend took the plunge yesterday and bought the 32" version of this TV. Despite badgering me all day monday I woke up to find he'd just gone out and bought one against all my advice.

He paid £320 (£399 + 20% staff discount - from his friend!) so I guess that was a very good price. I balked at the picture quality and was concerned by the uneven backlight. Also surprised he didn't get a VGA connection on it for his PC. Looking to test my DVD player and my 360 on it to get a better idea of the genuine picture quality, but it looked terrible with both of his DVD players, far worse than CRT.

Not managed to even test a proper RGB signal on it yet (god his DVD players must be crap) which should improve the picture no end. I'll definitely post when I get the chance to investigate.

Don't worry about your post though, I think that's £100 cheaper than it was the other day so worth letting people know :)
