Good deal. Before anyone mentions the Aria TV cockup with the Rush Hour a few months ago, I think they are getting back on track with their customer services, an now have their forum more linked to their main website...

reviews are not bad

Ultra cheap - without a doubt the cheapest HD-TV ever made!
#10
got this tv about 10 months ago nice picture quality etc,etc but aria customer service is rubbish,i would have paid a little bit more to get it from a good honest retailer
#11
i am so tempted, been staring at my screen with mouse hovering over buy button

but i can't

i really want to get a good 5.1/6.1 amp first

still voted hot though as its a bargain

I've read in various sources that Teco make Viewsonic and Sony screens.

I've yet to see bad feedback for a Teco and it's the one non-premium, obscure brand that i'd consider buying.

The only reseravtion I would now have is that there seems to a be lot less stockists nowadays. I don't think SVP or Scan stock them any more which sort of suggests that perhaps they're pulling out of the UK market - so watch out on the old warranty front.

Teco = Relisys

Relisys = Teco

:)
#14
looks very similar to my bauer tv from tescos..............:roll:

Would that mean that it's stock being sold off by the adminstrators with non-existent warranty?

If that's the case you'd want to make very sure that the retailer is good to deal with. Not too sure if Aria fits that bill.

Well, blow me!

Couldn't resist - it's comning wednesday. Used google checkout for the first (and possibly last) time also.

Voted extremely hot!

I agree, one dire company when you need any help, I avoid them now.

6 weeks to refund for 4 gig of ram and no end of phone calls were i was lied to time and time again(each phone call 30 mins+ on there 0870 number to get through due to a high number of calls) the same message i got the 1st time i had trouble with them.The funny thing is every time i rang up and was on hold for ages when i got through it was always the same guy i spoke to i think that he is the sole customer service team. Only the threat of legal action made them refund the money the ram was returned within 7 days so it should have been delt with straight away. I only got the confirmation email yesterday that they had refunded it and this is the second time. The 1st time they sent city link to collect a pcie card because they had sent me the wrong one weeks went by and they told me that they hadnt recived it back which was lies as they sent city link to collect it from me and city link had a signature from aria i had to go to the credit card company to get my money back i have only had stuff of them these 2 times and this is the service i got. I wouldnt buy a cable tie off these jokers let alone a tv go to ebuyer at least they do stuff right most of the time.I have never been so frustrated with a company in all my life the lies came thick and fast i reckon if you have one of these tvs from them and anything goes wrong with it you will have your work cut out to get anything done as my ram was in technical for 3 1/2 weeks after sending photos of the problem it would have took 10 miutes to test it. With a tv problem it could be a year or 2 i was told they had a back log in tech when it came through there as faulty and i rang up i was then told the same about accounts. WHAT A LOAD OF ********

Just got my despatch email - have to say I am usually impressed with ARIA service although , touch wood, I have not yet found myself in the position of having to return an item. This is not a good time to start so I have my fingers crossed.

Still can't believe the response I have gained from owners of this set - seems to be quite capable!

very low contrast ratio and brightness is poor too. Still, at this price, what does one expect. It will be fine in a bedroom.
#25
I bought this before xmas for £414 from SVP and it is VERY good, the brightness and contrast are fine. The only minor annoyance was the default factory settings are too saturated, 5 minutes adjusting the settings and problem solved.

At this price it's a steal.

According to this forum every TV <£800 is only tolerable in a bedroom:w00t:

Do people really put 32-40inch TV's in their bedrooms????

I would say it is the only way to deal with Aria, they certainly don't respond to requests via the web.. :roll:
