Drawing heavily on the spangled power-pop of cult favourites Big Star, Teenage Fanclub's sound was fresh and captivating in the pre-grunge 1980s. At the height of its fame, the Glaswegian quartet was at the forefront of the Britpop scene that eventually exploded with the likes of Blur and Oasis. While its raggedly melodic pop tunes teemed with big guitars and hooks, TFC supplanted the cheerfulness of its '60s-pop roots with lyrics that were melancholy and knowing.

HMV have added a load of titles to their "Offers" section today which says - Availability "back in stock in 7 days". So, a bit of a wait. But as it will be back in stock, so better to buy now at this price before they put it back up to £7.99.
I've bought loads of stuff from HMV "back in stock in 7 days" and ALWAYS got it at the price I paid for it; and sometimes received them quicker than "in stock" stuff. So don't let this put you off; it just means they have to get it from the supplier. Next cheapest is £5.99
