Both individual albums for £2.99. They come in a cardboard sleeve which you can just dispose of , as the CD's are in their individual cases.

Drawing heavily on the spangled power-pop of cult favourites Big Star, Teenage Fanclub's sound was fresh and captivating in the pre-grunge 1980s. At the height of its fame, the Glaswegian quartet was at the forefront of the Britpop scene that eventually exploded with the likes of Blur and Oasis. While its raggedly melodic pop tunes teemed with big guitars and hooks, TFC supplanted the cheerfulness of its '60s-pop roots with lyrics that were melancholy and knowing.

great post, great band, great price. But already own one of the two albums, somewhere possibly the other. Then again, for that price, might just buy again to save looking for them :-)

(One of) Kurt Cobain's favourite bands.

Hate seeing cheep deals for records iv already got, although that was about 10 years ago so had a lot of use out of them in that time.

Awesome, awesome band. Bandwagonesque is a definitive purchase for anyone - was Rolling Stone's album of the year when released i believe, pushing Nirvana's Nevermind into second place. Voted hot.

Bandwagonesque is one of the best albums ever.

SFNB is a very underated album though.

Watered down English American Rock pop.

Bands like Dinasaur Jr and Pixies were doing it much better IMHO.

Bargain basement material for me (saw them live in Liverpool '91 and enjoyed the gig mind). .

Not to be confused with 'Teenage Riots' (Sonic Youth) seminal stuff!

Criminally underrated band. Songs From Northern Britain is in my top five all time, even the B-sides from that record (Broken, He'd Be A Diamond) **** all over other bands of the same era.

It seems that if you follow the Big Star legend, you're destined to be passed over by joe public (see also the Jayhawks).

If you enjoy classic songwriting with great harmonies and you don't own these records, at £2.99, you really can't miss.

hey - this nicely fills a fannie shaped gap in my cd collection

Can't argue with that, you'll not spend a better three pound this year if you get these two albums:thumbsup:
