Clicked the link but it doesn't go to any deal :?

Costco is a wholesale trade only store - so £115 is probably the price before VAT ?
Amazon sell the white one for £120 or Debenhams do it for £175 :-)

Actually it's a membership warehouse and membership is available to non-business individuals who work for selected employment groups. Post office, NHS, Public Transport,Council etc
Makro on the other hand is trade only

Trouble is at Costco you have to add on the cost of membership,I never bothered renewing mine as I did not use it enough to justify the cost.
Makro on the other hand is free if you go through your company, though to be honest you can usually buy cheaper elsewhere, and I find the really good Makro Mail offers on electricals are usually coming up to be end of line with a newer model out in a month or so,by then you can get the old model on the high street cheaper than Makro.(my opinion only others may well differ)

Would probably be a hot deal but not in a good way according to this report from watchdog

Sorry I was only going by what there website stated:

Costco is an exclusive wholesale cash and carry membership warehouse club and is not open to the general public. Membership is required. You are eligible for trade membership if you are a bonafide business owner/manager who can provide evidence of trading. Follow our Trade membership tab above for further details.

Interesting read. Tefal should do the decent thing & recall them until the problem is sorted out!!!

its £115 inc vat
these are the new black models so i think tefal have sorted the problem out

I got one of these 18months ago and thought it was fantastic, but I was not impressed with the build quality. My first one had to be replaced within a month., because condensation was building up in the timer. The second one developed problems with the lid not closing. They replaced the lid twice within the guarantee period., but it stopped closing again when I'd had the actifry for 14 months. Tefal did not want anything to do with the problem, even though the problem started within the warranty period. A replacement lid would cost £35. I wouldn't buy this again, simply because I could have bought heck of a lot of chips for the money I spent on this.

Voted HOT, as this is the new, re-desisned model, and it's approx £199 everywhere else - We love ours, does everything it claims and more....

PS, as stated, it's £114.xx inc VAT and Costco do offer a TRUE "no quibble" refund policy!

I got the non black version from Costco. It blew up just after the year was up. No Sale of Goods act protection from Costco so that was that. Made lovely chips while it worked, though.

I went to my local Costco (Edmonton) to buy the black machine today.
None in store, they had the white one on display but none in stock.
The white was priced at £103.??p
OP, thanks for the heads up, sorry this went cold on you, I'm going to try another store later in the week.

I picked up the black machine today at the Thurrock store
Thanks again OP

How can Costco be exempt from the SoG Act? Surely it's a law which applies to all goods sold in the UK?

If you are a member of Costco you really need to make yourself aware of their returns policy!

Electrical items are covered for 5 years. My actifry just died after 14 months I have just returned it today for a full refund and replaced it with the new black model. Admittedly the new model is £10 more (I paid £105 inclusive of vat for the old white model) but I still think they have a fabulous returns policy. You don't even need the receipt because they have a record of everything you buy on their system. Excellent place to shop.

Hi guys do you know if the black actifry is still £114/£115? I saw this thread and was interested in it. Also is this their price for the black actifry or is it a sale price? (I'm not a member there but know someone who works there)

Thanks :)
