My son got this last Christmas for the same price, and tbh it's not the best kitchen, not very sturdy and a few things have broken already. I'm sure you could get a much better one for a similar price from toys r us.

I agree although it looks lovely, it doesnt last long once its out of its box.

don't mean to knock it-but this is one of those things that are always this price-Woolworths are good at this-they say its in the sale-but they have had them this price for an age. We were looking this time last year for an end of October birthday pressie and they were this price then, and all over Christmas time-i haven't seen them in the shop for a while tho'.

We ended up getting the ELC one-dearer, but had loads of free stuff-so got others in the family to donate towards it and then they gave the free food, saucepans, tea set etc that came with it which meant we didn't pay much more than this ! Don't know if you still can-but you could order it from Boots meaning you got points and could use it in the 3 for 2 offers at this time of year if anyone is interested.

My SON had this kitchen too and a workbench. He spends more time at the kitchen making Pizza. Anyway I agree with the other comments, not particularly sturdy, so wouldn't pay any more than this for it.

I have just got similar reactions from my hubby as I have bought my daughter a workbench and kitchen for her first birthday. I have also bought her a garage.

My daughter is getting a garage for Christmas this year. My four month old boy loves looking at her dolls.

I bought this for my little girl last year she never uses it now, prefers muddy puddles..as they do.

Probably because it feel to bits in no time. Even though it was cheap then I really wish I'd gone for a slightly dearer one that might've lasted.

The customer service folk are good if you do have any broken bits - my mum broke the liquidiser as soon as she picked it up and they sent a replacement. But once all of the accessories fall to bits (about 2 weeks tops) sometimes you just give up on it slightly!
