Tefal Quickcup - kettle that provides hot water in 3 seconds and also provides cold filtered water. Until recently, only Currys stocked these at almost 60 quid. They are the same price at littlewoods direct but, combined with first order code of ZQ056 come in at a more reasonable £45 including postage!! I look forward to receiving mine!

Mmmm, I'm undecided on this, is it a good price for what is basically a kettle?

Me too. Not voting myself.
I have this kettle and love it!!
GREAT little gadget .... BUT BUT BUT .........

You have to replace the filter inside every 6 or so weeks ......

AT £12 A SHOT ! ! ! ! !

Think I will leave it .
Why would you want the water in 3 secs. You need to sort your cup get the milk etc whilst a regular kettle is boiling. :)

Only when the staff have a day off:-D

Good information, I didnt know this at all, where did u find out about this from ? Is that if you want to filter the water as per a Brita filter etc? if your happy with your tap water you can just leave it out presumably.
Just a word of warning for those who really like their tea, these don't produce boiling water so you'll never get a 'decent' cup of tea from them.
There is quite a good thread going about this here
My god you lot are savage! My original thread did not say that there were only two suppliers, just that Currys were the original! Also, filters are £5 - £6 - I researched this before i started - I intend to get rid of my brita cold water filter jug so the cost to change is smaller (though still there i admit!). Finally, I am still looking forward to my (lukewarm!) coffee as I head to work at 7am - what price progress?
currently £45 at argos, although the average person will use about 10 filters a year costing £50 so it's not worth it as it only saves £30 in electricity
Ah but what about the environvent? well you will be throwing away 10 filters which will take 100's of years to decompose.
You can use it without filters but it wil get glogged with limescale if you live in hard water areas.
