A lot of customers are experiencing delays from various retailers inc. Play, Amazon (on Prime), Currys, etc. (I've been waiting since 28th September for an order placed with Currys that was supposed to have been delivered on 2 separate occasions). But I don't post that on other Currys deals as it's not relevent to that particular deal.

For what it's worth I placed an order with Best Buy 7th Dec for a TV, selected delivery for today and has arrived today. I asked the DHL driver about delays as have read comments here on HUKD and he confirmed that had a huge backlog due to some sort of conveyer malfunction at their Hatfield Terminal, but were doing their best to clear.

well i chose yesterday as my delivery and took the day off work and its still sitting in their warehouse as DHL are not taking in any more deliveries from them until the back log is cleared. So i think i made a fair enough comment (_;)

I honestly sympathise with you, but it doesn't appear to effect all items in all areas as my receiving the TV today proves and I live on an island!

Anyway, I hope you get it sorted!!

Incidentally, I've taken 2 days off work for the expected delivery from Currys and both times not received anything (inc. any form of communication notifying me of any delay).

buyer beware. Failed to turn up on 3 occassion now and have still not turned up. customer support none exisstent. Lie to you on the phone, will not get back to you when they promise.

waiting for a fridge freezer that should have been delivered from best buys by HDL NETWORK on29 th nov ,total lack of communication from them,broken promises and at least a 20 min wait on the phone each time that i ring them,customer service is very very poor just hope it arrives before more snow!!!!!

Me too company's a mess. Waiting 10 days for delivery and item hasn't left their warehouse. No call,, no email, customer services polite but useless!

Well to add balance - Best Buy were spot on when I ordered the two squeezeboxes last week. They planned to deliver on Monday, missed it due to the snow but contacted me to let me know and refunded my postage. As promised, they arrived the very next day. Excellent company from my exoerience of them.
