This looks exactly like my model which I bought over 2 years ago (Although it may have been updated edit- mine is a FV9130, so it's an updated model). It's still going strong and the ultraglide surface is still immaculate! Excellent deal for a powerful steam Iron. Fill your boots :-D .

The £99.99 RRP seems a bit steep. I bought mine from Tesco direct for 49.99 + £10 worth of clubcard vouchers (a deal on electricals they had then).

Interestingly Tesco was selling it for £70 or so, and comet for £49.99 so I rang Tesco direct and asked for a 'price match' . They declined saying it was a different model - The colours actually looked different on the individual websites but it appeared to be the same model. Mysteriously a day or 2 later Tesco's price came down to 49.99! I could then buy from them and get the vouchers. :)

I have a similar one which I bought about 2 years ago. Works well. The real problem is descaling it. You have to use vinegar to descale it (you can't use any chemicals or off-the shelf descaler).

I'm in the RAF and have owned this iron. It produces good results with very sharp creases if you need it. Bargain price.

Gotta keep my dancing slacks in tip-top condition :-D

Shouldn't it be illegal for websites to decide their own RRP?
% Discounts can look ridiculous.
Doubt it's ever been £99:99 online or instore anywhere

i agree
it was never £99 an iron?
i would rather use one of the old ones you heat on a stove for that price:-)
