are they reliable website?

Hot deal as it is the cheapest around, but £50 is a bit too much to spend on this game. Why can't they make one standard stick? too many peripherals for games as it is.

Anyways, agree with everyone who would spend their money elsewhere. The game is not so great either.

The 360 version is £69.89 with Courier Delivery £5.95...

http://www.simplygames.com/info/18059/Tekken-6-Arcade-Stick-Bundle-Collectors-Edition---Xbox-360-

hmmm, tempting but I only need the stick really
#7
Very good price, got the standard edition from work for £20 today, so is the extra worth it for the stick?

Very tempted.
#8
Amazing price ! I have the game on ps3 but i'm not a big enough of a beat em up fan to get this, but for anyone who is this is brilliant.
#9
Previous best deal was something like £99.95 with a £1 off voucher from Zavvi SO HEAT ADDED for saving of over £42.
#10
Does anyone know how this stick compares to the other £100 arcade sticks around at the moment?

I shipped the Hori 360 stick before SFIV came out, it's proper hardcore, it cost me £130 for the stick alone.

I've ordered this for the sheer hell of it, it's a £100+ stick for 35 quid if you take the game being worth 20.

OP well done, sweet deal, the only thing that should stop this getting to 1000 degrees would be the stock level - get in quick.

PS3 sticks work ok in PCs as well I think.
#13
Sorry to rant on BUT

You couldn't build this stick for this amount! Let alone getting the game in the box.

F knows how I'll explain this extra spend the wife.
#14
Yeah this is really hot.

have to give some input

This is wireless hori stick, hori's are ok and not fantastic! This is a good stick for general use, but not recommended for competitive and tournament gaming.

if u want a nice stick, then u'll want the madcatz TE stick, its rrp price is £150, but some stores are selling this around £90-£100. It uses sanwa parts, which are arcade quality parts.

the parts used in this stick is the same as a cheap hori stick, which if u're a casual gamer then there really is no problem.

this a good deal from the RRP price! Well spotted.

Tbh, if you don't own an arcade stick, this is a hot deal, but if you're like me and you have a Street Fighter TE or SE w/ sanwa parts then there's really no need.

I'm trying to work out whether I should get a dual mod installed on my SE or buy this and sell the game.
#18
@CrossHash can you explain the dual mod? Is that so it works on 360 and PS3

From what I've gathered, a dual mod is where you install a special PCB (called Cthulu) into the stick together with a toggle switch. Then you can use an arcade stick on a PS3 or an Xbox360. Gremlinsolutions sells the version which lets you use an Xbox360 stick on a PS3 (but I'm not sure if it's available the other way round).

The reason this offer tempts me is because I just got a PS3 and need an arcade stick - i'm kinda scared to get soldering so i'm not sure what i'll do.

You know, after watching this guy review the stick. It's probably not worth it.

What's the cheapest SE or TE stick these days?
#22
@Cuddy, fine except I've bought myself New Super Mario Bros, COD5, CODMW2, Assassins Creed 2, Wii Fit Plus, Forza 3 and waiting for another cheap Uncharted 2 deal, fanned this site :o)

Hori parts are arcade quality as well.

lol dude, u do realise the even HORI stick uses sanwa parts, why? Because Sanwa are one of japans top company when it comes to producing arcade parts

this deal is essentially this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hori-Arcade-Fighting-Stick-PS3/dp/B000MWE3BI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1261264471&sr=8-2

but with wireless functionality and fancy case.

If ure thinking u are getting this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/HORI-Real-Arcade-Pro-PS3/dp/B001GDQRZM/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1261264471&sr=8-4

then u are veruy wrong, this has a much nicer case as uses guess what sanwa parts (the buttons), but the stick remains hori.

u might want to do some research first, check out shoryuken forums, theres a lot of info.

my point exactly about this stick, compared to the TE this is not a good stick (in comparison), but at this price its understandable why people would want it.

i was thinking about just getting the SE and modding it, but the TE is only £90.

http://www.gameseek.co.uk/pd/PS3c8zzamz4bm3/Street-Fighter-IV-Arcade-FightStick--Tournament-Edition

There a TE2 coming out, but its exactly the same.. all sanwa parts
#26
my Hori EX RAC is all Hori, is it not?

With the TE2 coming out, I wouldn't be surprised if we'll be seeing some incredibly cheap TEs popping around soon. Wouldn't mind upgrading my SE to a TE.

Checking out the dual mod, it seems alright, i guess i'll just need to find some time.

Been looking at this for a while. Steal at this price

Anything has to be better than a d-pad!
#30
Wow and I thought I was nerdy.

But reading these posts I think i'm safe. £150 for those better sticks? you must be mad..

Voting hot because it seems the cheapest and not alot when you take off the price of the game I suppose :-P
#31
Seems a very good price, have ordered. Cheers OP - heat and rep left

This price reduction seems in line with prices across the pond too. Amazon.com are selling this set for $75 at the moment, which equates to roughly the same price. Apparently it was 60 bucks on there last week too..... http://xbox.joystiq.com/2009/12/10/tekken-6-arcade-stick-bundles-on-sale-for-78/

I am guessing this edition has not been as popular as they thought.....................

I can only but be thankful that this may be an indication that these morons cannot put in a piece of plastic or an accessory with any game and expect it to sell.

I think that the reason this is down to such a low price is because the game is not so good. In fact the game is pretty bad. Secondly, not many people have been stupid enough to shell full prices for these items which in rip off merchants like game.co.uk is still £149.99

I may order this game if someone can tell me that the stick is of good quality and that it works with other fighters like street fighter 4.

If not then I wouldnt go for it. Hopefully this will see a reduction in peripherals like dj hero and tony hawk ride and all those guitar hero things.
#34
So I can use this stick with SF4 etc?

I don't know what to think about this video. If the guy didn't sound so ghetto and urban and....well....dumb, I would actually think he had a point. "Thish izz maw shtrait up opinyan. This is not fur long taum use as it is a plastic vursion".

yeah, thanks for the review puff daddy. Maybe you expected the buttons to be made of wood? if not plastic?

I am just one reason away from purchasing this thing. Please help someone.

I got the game for £17 and the HORI Fighting Stick 3 for £27 both delivered, both a couple of weeks ago which is essentially what this pack is. I think the only major difference between the FS3 and this Tekken stick is this one is wireless. I think I would have paid the extra tenner for a wireless stick but I'm sure it's not rechageable.

Both of those offers are expired but I'm sure the prices will fluctuate down again, if you are not in a rush just wait for them to drop again if you miss this. In October the FS3 was a tenner at Gamestation!

My HORI stick is ok, the buttons and joystick are a bit spongey for my liking and I'm only a casual fight fan. I'm probably going to buy Sanwa buttons and joystick from Gremlin Solutions for about £30 just for the heck of it.

If you're no good at electronics and don't mind spending a little more for the best stick on the market then you can get the all Sanwa parts SF4 TE stick for £80 at Shopto right now.

Just letting you know all options. Buyer's remorse is a horrible thing!
#38
Oh yeah, and the non-colour coded buttons and them being in the wrong place on this Tekken stick would annoy the hell out of me.

Not an issue if you are upgrading the buttons obviously.

dude is it hard to swap the buttons over on this? like the MCatz SE?

i've seen this stick discussed on shoryuken forums and to be honest I am not impressed, but at £50 it may be worth a pop.

I've already got the parts for the SE, but the price haven't dropped to below £50 yet! might just have to shell out with Super SF4 coming out.

Oh someone asked if this stick will work on SF4, yes it will.. its not designed solely for T6, its just another controller with a fancy face plate :)
