Ten Individual Day Passes for £15 at LA Fitness (£150 Value)

It is suspected that Jack Uzi and his accomplice Jim Nasium created the first ever gym/spa combo as a front to hide their more nefarious weapons manufacturing operation. Go great guns with today's Groupon: for £15 instead of £150, get ten full-access gym passes to any branch of LA Fitness outside the M25.

Also if you thought this was not a prelude to a hard sell and 12 month contract, you'd probably be very much mistaken.

it's just as well you don't have to be a member to use the facilities then. It's a cracking deal assuming you can dodge the sign up touts

I was gonna put this up yesterday but never got around to it. As a day pass is £12 a go.

I was under the impression that if u are in central London it's £15 for them and out side of London it's I think £10/12.

This is an excellent deal, the best I've seen recently from Groupon. All you have to do is say no if someone tries to sign you up.

All you have to do is say no if someone tries to sign you up.

Anyone who believes you can just say no either has a hard shell, or is completely unaware of the sales tactics used by such places. "No" is often considered a prelude to continually barage you with reasons why you should sign up to the gym for 12 months and all the "great deals" you'll be getting.

I am in luck then because I am moving back to Canada in six weeks. Hard sell all you want, not me.

When this happened to me, I just said no. They tried to 'neg' me but I just told them I was moving away shortly after. I got no problems after that.

after going there for 3 free days they started to hassle me by phone

I said I am not interested - a few times

then they said that they have an offer to pay £19.99/month instead of 29.99, free instructor, tell you all you can do to become fit blah blah blah - so I thought OK, I'll give it a try

I realised later on that they were charging me £29.99/month

went to the bank and interrupted the debit

this is when the threatening letters started to come, becoming worse and worse and threatening me with court action

after a 1 1/2 hour discussion with them I agreed to pay the rest at 19.99/month in cash till the year end. By that time I was so upset with them I never went back to their gym - which is more than full at pick times anyway - but at least I was free

a friend of mine wanted to stop after 1 year and they did not allowed her - told her that she needed to announce 2 months before the year 1 end so again now she is threatened with court action

and anyhow the classes I wanted to attend were - excuse my French total CRAP. The dancing class I was after was not even on - me and my friend were once left with t he music on so we can dance ourselves. Great, but why pay for that???

If you want to be put off the gym and become a contributor forever go and join LA leisure. I highly recommend them for that!
