Great little TENS had mine for about 6 years, just went on to Physio Med website to order new pads as my Dad is going to borrow my machine and found this for £19.99. I know there are cheaper version of them out there but this is quite a comprehensive machine and a 5 year warranty.

Self adhesive pads that are reusable (single patient use i.e separate pads for separate people!)and can be re moistened with water to rejuvenate the adhesive
Postage £1.95 under £25 and also go to the vat relief form to order by post/fax for VAT relief for disabled and chronically sick
so £19.33 in postage with VAT releif!

If you want extra pads etc place a separate order to get another postage for 1.95 (rather than £4.95 for orders over £25 - 2x£1.95 = 3.90)

Great price, i paid over £50 for this last year, and it works perfect. Just what i needed thanks.
Just to add, this is as good as good as the NHS versions which can be used during labour, they have dual electrodes and the electrodes themselves can be bought at a good price on Fleabay. Superb for backache use too. Getting another one for myself at this price as my father 'borrowed ' mine 6 months since:x

Thats a bargain, I used a TENs machine in labour and it really does work, I managed an induced labour with it and didn't need the epidural that the midwifes insisted I would!

Actually it uses the principle of Pain Gate/gating and also stimulate the release of endorphins - the body's natural pain relief - opioid neuropeptides.

I been using a TENS Machine now for over 6 years for Failed Back surgery Pain, You do need to use it regularly and for about 30-90 minutes at a time.

- I also take heavy duty pain killers with limited effect as my body gets used to the medication long term

I repeat: it works by placebo effect only.
It doesnt cause any therapeutic release of endorphins- thats fake biology.
The pain killers you take- thats real biology.
I'm glad it works for you but the product is an affront to science.

Agree 100%

Don't buy one BORROW one... available from NHS physios, others have had them via GP.
That way you find out for free, but usually everyone gangs up against those of us who have used these things, and found them worthless, no doubt that will follow this post too, so pardon me if I don't waste more time than this, a lot of repeated stuff usually comes across.

It seems they have some underlying desire for people to waste their money without question, make your own mind up, if they are that good you will rush out to buy one after you try it, but I suspect not many will!.
