I'm not a big terminator fan but £4 for a blu ray is good news, hot

This aint the skynet edition, and generally gets poor reviews to the the conversion being poor quality.
#3
very poor correct, its cheap for a reason.

Its a very good price but id recommend splashing out an extra couple of quid and getting skynet edition
#5
as soon as i read this i wated to know if it was the skynet edition as i agree with you 2. this original transfer was shoddy
#6
It's not just the transfer, you get a lot of extra features on the Skynet Edition
#7
you guys dont know much about blurays if you think the skynet edition is good, the film transfer has been DNR to death on bluray

Transfer, sound and extras are better on the Skynet release. As there has already been 2 releases I can't see a definitive release happening, at least until the next anniversary. The 20th is next year so its possible, but then again they might wait for the 25th. So until then, the Skynet Edition is the way to go, or just hang onto your DVD.

This part is the best one!!!

Blockbuster was flogging these off for a fiver last year, and there's a good reason why. This deal is nowhere near as hot as the heat suggests, the Skynet edition can often be found for £6-8 and really is worth the extra few quid. It's the special edition, so has extra scenes and the picture quality is superior.

Considering the consensus on the improved picture is pretty much unanimous, it strikes me that you're just one of those A/V snobs who can't actually remotely tell the difference between these things but likes to go around talking about this stuff like they are 'l33t'.

£2.99 brand new and sealed they were down here - we bought one for the gf's dad as he'd just bought a PS3.
Have to agree fully with cookiemonster, this deal is much hotter than it deserves. The Skynet edition (which incidently, I purchased from cookiemonster!) is frequently only a few pounds more and has lots of (suprisingly interesting) extras. In my opinion the alternate ending/extra scenes warrant the higher price anyway, and thats before you get into sound/picture quality.

Yeah, as long as its about £4 or £5, a Blu-ray will always do well regardless. I posted a Ponyo Blu-ray + DVD deal, of the deluxe edition, cheapest I've seen it, and it struggles up to 82 degrees, and another guy posted Thirst for £6.95 and it got barely any hot votes, great film.
