Yeah, can't wait. Hopefully one or two other classics will get the 3D treatment at some point, particularly James Cameron films like Aliens and even The Abyss.

Is there much point as they weren't designed for 3D to begin work and they're classics as they are? I'll assume they'll try and update some of the effects, otherwise risk looking dated, but then they often lose something in the process as well (just as with Star Wars or trying to remaster non HD stuff to blu-ray). A lot of post production 3D is pretty meh, even when planned from the outset, IMHO.

does blue ray quality and 3d make bad movies look good? :)

It's already happening with Terminator 2, and possibly the original Star Wars films, so I don't see why not. Jurassic Park has already been done - and looks great - despite being out years before 3D came along.

It's not terrible. It's a serviceable movie and definitely worth a watch if you are a fan of the franchise or Arnie.

This entry in the series is starting to grow on me, seen it 3 times and the last time i watched it the only truly horrid part was the bad boys mug shot scene which is literally appalling. And the ludicrous "upgrade". Watchable though and deffo better than Salvation.

I've has to sit through this tripe four times, absolutely terrible.

Quite enjoyed this one. Not a patch on the first two, obviously, but it was better than 3 and 4. It's a bit like fan fiction that had millions of dollars thrown at it, but it's pretty fun.

I paid a fortune to go see it in Imax :(
