The Terminator (1984): In this blazing, cinematic comic book, Arnold Schwarzenegger is perfectly cast as the fiercest and most relentless killing machine ever to threaten the survival of mankind! From the Oscar winning director of Titanic this fast-paced, cleverly conceived, rip roaring action adventure fires an arsenal of thrills, intriguing plot twists and heart-stopping suspense that never lets up for a minute!

In 2029, giant super-computers dominate the planet, hell-bent on exterminating the human race! And to destroy man's future by changing the past, they send an indestructible cyborg - a Terminator - back in time to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), the woman whose unborn son will become mankind's only hope. Can Sarah protect herself from this unstoppable menace to save the life of her unborn child? Or will the human race be extinguished by one mean hunk of mutant metal?

The Terminator 2 (1991): The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a cyborg sent back through time, joins forces with Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), a woman haunted by nightmares of mankind's inevitable nuclear destiny. Together, they must protect her son John (Edward Furlong) - the boy destined to lead the freedom fighters of the future - from the deadliest machine ever created, the liquid metal T-1000 (Robert Patrick).

The Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines (2003): A decade has passed since John Connor (Nick Stahl) helped prevent Judgment Day and save mankind from mass destruction. Now 22, Connor lives "off the grid" - no home, no credit cards, no cell phone and no job. No record of his existence. No way he can be traced by Skynet - the highly developed network of machines that once tried to kill him and wage war on humanity. Until... ...out of the shadows of the future steps the T-X (Kristanna loken), Skynet's most sophisticated cyborg killing machine yet. Sent back through time to complete the job left unfinished by her predecessor, the T-1000, this machine is as relentless as her human guise is beautiful. Now Connor's only hope for survival is the Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), his mysterious former assassin. Together, they must triumph over the technologically superior T-X and forestall the looming threat of Judgment Day...or face the apocalypse and the fall of civilization as we know it.

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins (2009): Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Bale) is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind

I prefer it to T2, whiney teen movie that it is. At least 3 had Claire Danes.

Quadrilogy? Isn't T4 the start of a second trilogy?

I'd have said T4 was the worst of these, it goes nowhere and has the silliest of endings. Nice CGI tho ....

that is because number 4 is the first in a new trilogy of termi movies, there is a 5 and 6 on the way.

i thought number 4 was good, and not as bad as everyone seems to say it is :S, i really liked it.

1st is best, then 4th, then 2nd.....there is no third. there something on my bookcase claiming to be a third. Some sort of comedy. Even the 2nd one annoys me somewhat.

I do love debates on the terminators but when it comes to these films I just can't knock em.... I love the idea of the films and think they are ALL great. 2nd one has to be far and away the best though. Just because of how it was made in the era it was made! Brilliant!

Hot from me!

Terminator 2 is boring.

I'm having trouble finding which versions you receive. Anyone know?

Similar price at the hut.

I wouldn't touch this until I knew what versions were included.

Doesn't help that Zavvi's website says the whole thing is only one disc

What? :w00t:
Terminator 2: Judgement Day is one of the greatest movies ever, and easily the best Terminator

Terminator 2 holds a special place in my heart, even though I secretly know the first is the best.
The third is unwatchable, but Salvation was marginally better.

There's about 50 minutes in the middle of T2 where NOTHING happens.

If anyone does order this, could you let us know what versions are included.

Cheers.
