As far as I can tell, they're both the same, with the UK Blu-ray release containing both the theatrical and director's cuts of the film. The started runtime on Play's listing would appear to back this up: Duration 3 hours 52 minutes (232 minutes) = 115 minutes + 117 minutes.

Thanks for posting, I've been considering buying this for a while but even at a tenner couldn't bring myself to do it... I agree with Slates71 that it's a disappointment (for me, in terms of terrible acting/characters and not a great storyline) but I'd still re-watch it from time to time just for the production and the effects.
Heat added.

@Slates71 and @timefortea - but is the CGI Arnie worth the price of admission? I've yet to see the film, but heard good things about that part?

Buy it or not(_;)

This film does seem to get a lot of critisim, but I for one quite enjoyed it.

HOT decided to order from Amazon for the uncut version just on the safe side as its same price.

I've not seen the film as I heard it's appalling. However I do like a bit of Bale... Is it worth it for the Bale alone? Out of 10 how angry does he get in this film?

He's terrible in it. Uncharacteristically weak performance, and a pretty lame character, too. It's just disappointing - over the past three films, John Connor's been built up as the most important man in the future, leading the resistance to eventual victory. In this, he's pretty much just a grunt. Sam Worthington steals the show, albeit playing the exact same character he played in Avatar and Clash Of The Titans.

The film's okay, though. Worth watching.

I'm going to wait for whatever format takes over from Blu Ray.

That's how John Connor starts off. He can't just automatically become the leader of the resistance, especially if there are already surviving Military Generals.

Salvation nicely shows the reputation/respect Connor has with the troops in the Resistance; they follow him, not their commanding officers.

Terminator 5 should have John Connor taking command.

A figure for the Bale Index for this film would be interesting to know. He gets pretty angry in Batman Begins for example, that's maybe a 6/10?

It's out in America...
You can either import it or get it some other way.
