Set after the events in Terminator 2, Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) and her son John (Thomas Dekker), now find themselves alone in a very dangerous, complicated world. Fugitives from the law, they try to stay under the government's radar as they plot to destroy the Skynet computer network in hopes of preventing Armageddon.

Is this any good? It's just that after three Terminator films that seems enough.

You've still got the new fourth one to go next year....."Terminator - Salvation" with Christian "Batman" Bale

Good enough series, but £15 is a bit much for 9 eps even on blu-ray....

Oh yeah, i've heard about that new film. It should be good if Bale's in it.

I think the four films are enough Terminator for me.

Still very cheap considering BR prices with single films still over the £15 mark.

Excellent price for a pretty decent series - heat added. Shame, though, that it's looking increasingly like Fox has just pulled the plug on production of season two. Does no-one remember that it took year for Buffy and The X-Files to become the sensations they ended up as? I'm going to miss my pretty Terminator lady in HD...

Great series, I'm enjoying the 2nd series now showing in the US.

But it's actually set after just 2 films, and the best thing about the show is that, due to time travelling events in it, Terminator 3 never happens, which is something I think everyone wishes we could do in real life.

I think it's the best thing on TV at the moment - the people who have made it have really done their homework. It really captures the atmosphere of the first two films with an amazing attention to detail. Everything in it plausibly fits in the Terminator storyline, working in and around the first two films - it even revisits some scenes from the films, one in particular from the first film. It has 'flashbacks' of the future, which they've obviously spent a lot of money on, and it's good sci-fi. They even use bits of music, either verbatim or remixed, from the films - it really helps the atmosphere when the bad terminators are accompanied by the same oppressive music as the T1000 in T2.

It's a shame that Terminator: Salvation is, apparently, going to pick up from T3, because I would hate having to acknowledge that film. Making T3 canonical will mean that The Sarah Connor Chronicles can be dismissed as the 'alternate' timeline. Hopefully Salvation won't make particular references to either.

I've just watched episode 4 of the second season, and it's fantastic so far! (Okay, maybe last week's episode was a little weak, but this one more than made up for it!) I can't say anything because it's full of spoilers, but let's just say there was a lot of scenes set in the future and a lot of information about Cameron's history that raises a lot of questions. Comments on here are the first I've heard about it possibly being cancelled, but if anyone at Fox actually watches the show they would realise how great it is! Ratings be damned, it was the best received new show last season and ratings don't mean anything these days when you take into account TiVo/Sky+/whatever form of DVR/PVR, or downloading on iTunes or even torrents or rapidshare, and also Fox air it up against Monday night football, so what do you expect?

If they cancel it, Summer Glau is going to start taking it personally! I don't have a Blu-Ray player, but I'm planning on getting one so maybe I'll just buy it now, in advance, to support the show! If my £15 part-pays for another scene full of terminators set in the future, I'll be happy!
