Can i just ask a question without being blonde....these little suitcases, what are they classed as at the airport? hand luggage or a suitcase? And do they go through to the plane or do you take them on with you? x
#5
They are hand luggage, made to comply with most airline regulations,

Search for "Trunki" brings up other (higher priced) models, but no Terrance.

Hand luggage you can take on the plane. We have two of the Bee ones and they're a great size. Went in the overhead compartment no problem. Biggest pain was pulling the kids on them about the airport mind you and trying to avoid hitting everyone lol!
#13
These comply with industry standard for hand luggage but Ryanair imposes a smaller size - smaller than a Trunki. Has anyone had any problems taking one of these on to Ryanair flights?
#14
Bought the Bee one from amazon a couple of weeks ago, looks great but trying to hide it from teh littleone till nearer the holiday. Nice build quality though - seems sturdy.
#15
Don't use it much but my son loves his. He's 5 and has had it a couple of years now. Great fun round the airports!

Had no problems with my daughters Trunki as hand luggage on a First Choice flight this year, so would assume they follow the industry standard sizes
#17
My daughter has the trunki version of this and we took it on holiday (easyjet) with no issues at all. It was her "hand luggage"

I took one of these on a Ryanair flight last week. It fit into the cages they have for checking luggage dimensions, but only just. There were quite a few of them on the flight. Ours is one of the older ones with one handle though. I'm not sure if the newer ones have the same dimensions. Have also taken it on easyjet recently too with no problems.

Ditto for ours, couple of years on still in great condition, we have the saddle bag too, now. That's a great addition for the essentials you'll actually want them to have access to during a flight, train journey etc.
