How is the paid version different from the free one?
#9
Is this actually any good on a phone? I have a Moto E that would be nice to use to kill some time sometimes :P Enjoyed it on PC, but still, PC to Phone is a big jump

EDIT: Didn't realise there was a trial version, may have a little play with that now

the free version is fully playable but u cannot save the game.
my lad has had it on his tablet for months nad as long as he leaves game in background it carries on lol.

but at this price i will buy it for him.

its just a shame he cant carry over his world he already has from the xbox360 version

Even the sale prices are more expensive with apple!

Looks. Terrible.

I'm sure the gameplay is good, but I just don't get this Minecraft style addiction.

The controls on this game are top notch. One of the best transitions from pc to Android. If you like terraria on pc do not hesitate grab this game. It really is a spectacular port
#15
Thanks for posting. amazing deal!

Amazon app store still has it for £3.12. Wonder if they will price match.

While it shares some elements with Minecraft overall they are very different games.
Terraria is about killing monsters and getting loot with house building and creating thing really just a side section of the game.

tbh I've played both Minecraft really didn't do anything for me, but the Terraria there is an actual goal/aim (get better equipment, kill monsters, get better equipment kill bosses, rinse and repeat).

I'm trying to get this on my Hudl 2 & it says my device isn't compatible with the app - grrr! Why would that be, the Hudl has android as its operating system?

Gotcha, thanks for the run down. I'll give it a miss, but that's because I lack the patience :)

I'm wondering the same thing. I doubt it though since their main audience is kindle fire and they have a captive audience there.

not really violent at all. It has guns, weapons, zombies and skeletons and that kind of thing so mild horror I suppose. I've yet to see any hardmode content though, so can't comment on that.

Bit of a lottery if it will actually load these days. Both android and IOS platforms are full of bugs. I bought it on iOS and have still yet to get it to launch despite numerous attempts at troubleshooting. Just re-downloaded onto my HTC One and it won't launch either! Sake! Seems I'm not the only one with problems when checking the various forums out.

Great game though when it's working. Lots of fun.

I'm trying to get this on my Hudl 2 & it says my device isn't compatible with the app - grrr! Why would that be, the Hudl has android as its operating system?

I've the same on two Hudl's I've go for the kids - not ideal as its the one game they really love to play so it will take away from the xmas excitement of having their own tablet

Any ideas?
