Anyone using these??

Seem to be some pretty high claims for savings.

I thought the average was £10/year per house? Theres no way that could be 30%!

Not bad if you just want one fitted, but any more and it'd probably be cheaper to get someone in to fit some cheap £7 ones.

Pretty poor reviews on Screwfix, main complaints seem to be about too much noise for bedrooms - exactly where I would use them - and general poor quality.

I imagine the 30% saving is on a radiator with no thv?

Only place i would use it is in my living room, but its quite ugly!

For most of the time the terrier i-temp sits there in total silence, it only makes a very slight humming nose for a few seconds when calibrates itself once a day and when it changes setting from one temperature setting to another. Not when it’s in general operation regulating one constant temperature.

I have voted hot, I bought three of them back in November last year, just before the cold spell. I was sceptical, but read the info and did my own calculations. On my calculations I went for it.

On the second day of them being fitted I went into my bedroom during the day and thought "its freezing in here", but nobody usually goes in during the day anyway. At this point it hit home; for years I have been using gas to heat the room all day with nobody in there!!

The comment about the noise is partially fair (maybe it was my review on screwfix?).

The motor runs for maybe 15-20 seconds when it goes from heating to shutting off (5C); all I did was program the timer so that it shuts off before I go to bed now, not just after. Once you see the savings in real terms, you live the the small amount of noise!

My gas consumption dropped 20% against the same period last year; that's got to be a 25% £ saving.

I fitted in 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. I bought one more last week to fit to my other bathroom (no, I've not got a huge house, its the 'kids' bathroom in the attic).

Ill be buying 2 more on this offer too!

I have definately made a huge saving! I bought 6 in October and Ive said about 20% on my overall bill since last year. With 3 kids, its great for their bedrooms, as all different ages so its warm only when they are generally in there rooms. Brill!

Hmm, that's not what many of the reviews say.
