Good deal.

not bad but I generally find 90% of these eggs are small

same price at asda btw

nice to see that the majority off the egg range at supermarkets are now free range whilst the prices seem to be falling. Consumers win all round.

I posted a deal for 12 yesterday at sainsbury's and some people mentioned the Asda deal but when I was Tesco yesterday they were at £3.07. There's different standards though when it come's to "free range". The one I posted was chickens that live in the woods with the natural protection of the trees which tesco also do but they are pretty expensive.

anyway anybody that is not close to a Tesco but near a Sainsbury's you can get 12 woodland free rabge for £2.

What i tend to do is open the box before and see if your going to get all golfballs or tennis balls. And too see if they are cracked too!

Good to see the mayos are following suit too.

I find that if you check the eggs in Sainsburys economy range eggs there are often free range eggs inside. look for a 1 in the code stamped on the egg before UK. These are free range.

They went cage-free in 2009 but I don't know if they've gone completely free-range.

Regardless, they seem to be leading the mainstream supermarkets on this topic.
