  Havent tried to play any media files BUT it is for media playback as when you select the option on the remote it tells you that no media is inserted into USB - or something like it
  
  The only thing i found i got the tv bracket half price from tesco when ordering if you are looking to watch this tv in bed make sure you have it low enough on the wall as the tilt down is not the best.
  
  Freeview and dvd plaback are good the sound quality for a little tv is also good.
  
  very good for bedroom or kitchen also no branding on tv which for me makes it better

  got one @ £71 the other week and it plays avi ( ie what was downloaded from isohunt etc ) from both pendrive in USB and DVD disc too.

  I looked at one of these in the shop yesterday.
  Was concerned that if wall mounted the HDMI cable would be sticking out too much.
  
  Any one know if this is the case?
