  Thanks - went for the 5ft as read reviews on how long it takes to fill the 8ft. By the time it fills, summer will have gone!

  oh ye of little faith, I will be offline for a while, making my daily trip to tesco to pick up, tennis balls, space hoppers, basketball set, meccano sets, frying pan, another coffee thing & a few other bits & pieces that I didn't know I needed :D

  Just checking my maths for the 8ft pool - 2300 litres is 2.3m^3. price of water is about £1.50 per m^3, so under £1.50 to fill.
