Just to let you know that when you do your grocery shopping online you will still get a voucher for 5p off every litre of petrol (if you spend £50 on groceries) same as you do in-store.

I have just spent under £10 and got the voucher from the self service till....BARGAIN!!!!!

As with anything Tescos they are only glad to give refunds, buy something from the electrical department get vouchers + clubcard points. Take it back the next day and you get to keep the points and 5p off voucher.

Don't know, get the shopping delivered without bags

Got my online shopping the other day and...
£10 off £25 of online groceries/wine
30% off 6 bottles of wine (on top of the already half priced bottle)
5p off Ltr of petrol (for spending £50)

Forgot to tick "no bags" box. Must remember to do that next time (even though they get recycled one way or another)

At this rate it won't cost me anything to shop at Tesco:-D

Think it's to try & encourage you to recycle used carriers & earn green clubcard points for each bag used. I took 7 Morrison bags in & only used 3 & they still gave me 7 green points.

Petrol is good deal as well btw

I get green clubcard points for getting the shopping delivered without bags, and it saves me time having to empty the bags!

We spent about £20 each on 2 lots of shopping at Tescos the other day (to make use of the £10 off £25 voucher twice!)....and got 2 5p off a litre vouchers with the shopping. Excellent.

Havent been to a supermarket for years since online shopping started. Ironically now I have to go to use my petrol voucher (except Croydon depot havent had any vouchers delivered yet). Perhaps they could start delivering petrol. A good deal though.

It should be stapled to your bill.
#10

Want to get mine sent without bags too. I know they bring it in boxes, do you just turf everything out of the box whilst the driver waits or something?

Takes me ages to get everything put away, lack of freezer space!

They take mine to the kitchen and help me take it out of the boxes. Put it in sensible places too (e.g. freezer stuff by the freezer etc)

I did a stupid thing - filled the tank up at the pump and used the "pay at pump" option; I was on automatic pilot!
Then I realised that I had a voucher to present. So I went to the pay kiosk to enquire and was told that I had basically lost out!
Be warned!!

I know we all use this site to save a few pennies but that's just too tight!

Sounds a bit anal I know but compared to petrol bought from Shell (same price @95.9p per litre) I get in the region of 30 miles less with Tesco fuel. Shell also ranks alongside ESSO in terms of fuel economy. Found this out after the Tesco fuel problems a couple of months ago as I always used to fill up at Tesco.
So for 5p litre saving = ~22.75p per gallon or ~£2.30 for 10 gallons. At 4.36 per gallon this is then a saving of just over half a gallon. At 40mpg I will get @20 miles more from the Tesco fuel or 30 miles from Shell normal price.

Just re-reading the above has given me an indication of how sad my life has become.
BTW I don't work for Shell, ESSO or any other oil company!

Does anyone have link to this 5p petrol coupon? My driver delivered today and no coupon. Is this offer for only those near tesco pumps, or outside London?

I got my groceries delivered with no bags for the 1st time and I will definately do it again, so much easier and green points as well...
I am glad we will still get the petrol voucher even though we shop on line, I am sure that last time they did this promotion on-line shoppers didn't get it!

We always get the vouchers (schools vouchers, petrol vouchers etc) with the shopping

We have had about 7 deliveries without bags now, and each time the driver asks if we have done it before, when we say yes they look surprised and say that most people dont do it twice! I thought it was better - was quicker to put away because we just take the stuff from boxes and put it infront of correct cupboard/drawer/fridge etc

I do online shopping, this voucher is useless as I dont have a tesco store anywhere near. only an express/esso petrol station and they wont accept it:-(
#32
Does anyone know if the tesco petrol voucher offer has finished, I had my shopping delivered today but there was no coupon!
