Cheap EYESORE !!!!

Probably why you won't find any out of the box on display (as they usually do in most stores). Its more likely a skinny, flimsy tree that will just about get through this Christmas lol.
#7
Its a weed
#8
waste of plastic..

just think about the amount of oil burned to make this rubish

Cheers Peter, must pick one up at newtownbreda tonight :)

I bought one this morning and is not bad for the price. Once I get more lights and decorations will look all right.i'll They also had lots of half price decorations.I bought 50 red balls for £2.50 as well.

I've bought one today, we're away for xmas and wanted it to feel festive. Looks ok and more than £3.50's worth. If it's really naff I'll leave it there!

Why do I get the feeling that as soon as one would put decorations on it, the weight would be too much.

Didn't realise Tesco's sold TWIGS.

Anyone noticed this in other stores or is it store specific?

I think I might buy one for a laugh. They were £7 yesterday in my local store when I was looking for something else.

EDIT - saw posts now from others saying they've bought one. :)

of course its not going to be an amzaing tree as its TESCO VALUE but it maybe something for people on a tight budget or an extra tree in the conservatory/spare room that the kids can decorate in their own way or as somethign just to get you through a year or 2

Exactly. Rep added.

I'm thinking about sticking one in a spare room where I do a lot of work - something to brighten the place up and stop me from going out of my mind with the crap I need to do over Xmas :)

Well said! Whether a plastic tree or real tree, if it puts a smile on your face and gets you in the festive mood then it's doing its job. I have seen plastic trees decorated in a such a funny way by kids, with lots of presents underneath ... and it's great and really gets you feeling warm and fuzzy :) Don't be snobby folks ...

I remember buying one of these value trees a few years back I put the thing up & a few hours later the tree actually broke in half!

What, all on it's own? Same tree 'a few years ago' was it? Your caution may be wise but your past experience hardly seems good reason to condemn this product without looking at it.

Don't bother with this I bought one a couple of weeks ago and wasn't expecting a fantastic tree as it's obviously tesco value but looks NOTHING like the pic on the box. I bought a cheap tree before from poundstretcher and it looked ok once you rearrange the branches etc but this thing is awful it looks like a dead christmas tree!!

I even took a pic of it so i could show the staff when i returned it who laughed at how rubbish it looked!!

really is it for half a tree?
