Not a bad price, but slightly shady how Tesco increased the standard price on these from £1.66 to £2.09 shortly befire starting their latest 2-4-1! Their 241 offer was hot when it was 2 for £1.66.....luckily I stocked up then!

yeah the other offer has finished. I know its a bit more than asda def but might have the ones in stock that others want. Hope it helps someone :)

Nice sauces, just one question: why can't you buy a cook in sauce that tastes like a proper sit down or takeaway Indian restaurant?
Hot from me!

Totally agree, this is Tesco stock and trade with special offers, about time they had to show price history for the last 6 months on all "special offers"

Have you tried Kohinoor sauces, lovely. fresh and fragrant just like a decent curry house. used to be able to get them in my Tesco.

If not, you can buy them online. Try the Methi Malai.

Always £1 at LIDL, but they are gross by name gross by nature.
Think tinned passata and thickener.

Couldnt disagree more, they are some of the nicest sauces i have had, especially the pasta bake ones. Each to their own though :)

If you add loads of oil into the sauce, you'll find it's not far off takeaway sauces. ;)

Disagree. Extremely good pasta sauces, very authentic. Plenty of flavour and doesnt taste processed.

One day someone who posts this deal will spell it right.

terrible, bland, tasteless sauces.

It's cheaper and nicer to make your own

Take it this is a wind up. If you can make a nicer sauce for less then I think you should get straight onto Dragons Den.

Tin of tomatoes/fresh tomatoes 40p/free
herbs - free if home grown /a couple of pence if used dried
couple of cloves of garlic- couple of pence.

Not difficult.

don't be a plonker. you buy condiments in bulk and use as and when required. each gram of which costs pennies.

I currently have all those ingredients in my kitchen, except the celery.

Normally about a quid anyway, live upto their name though, absolutely Gross.

(glug of good olive oil too - bulk out with veg or whatever you have handy)

I like these sauces but lastjunkie has a good point here - do try your own - delish!
