Tesco brekkies aren't great, but better than many.
Fills a hole, as they say.

What do you get for 99p?

Exactly - how can we vote if we don't know what we are getting?
Is it all stores?
When does it start/expire?
Do you have to quote any code etc?

cant say I have been in any tescos stores that have a cafe section

I thought they closed all their cafes, all the ones around east devon, somerset closed, they started making everything very expensive, then said due to lack of demand they were closng them, even the staff thought it was a con. Replaced with books, stationary, cards etc

this sounds hot to me!!!

I do have a minimum 50 baked bean requirement though. !!!
#8
Does that include tomato sauce on the beans? Just kidding. Reminds me of post-bender ASDA recovery breakfasts. Good price.

My local large Tesco (in Elmers End) was remodelled. They closed the cafe and we now have a very expensive Costa - thanks! ):

There is a sign at Southend Tesco that they are about to open a new 'family cafe' whatever that means, I've not looked.

Yes. I recall visiting an outsourced Tescos cafe at Gallows Corner, Romford a while back for breakfast at about 9am. They had run out of eggs. I pointed out there there were about a thousand of the buggers in aisle "C" 40 yards away but they said they would have to wait for the delivery from their own seperate source....

Great. That's roughly a 50% increase in amount of beans you normally get :)

Less than a penny. How do they do it ? How do you get your change ? ;)
#18
Of course when one is appraising the beans aspects one should concentrate on the weight of the portion rather than the quantity of bean....
#19
the bean to sauce ratio is quite crucial too.
#20
Bean there...done that
#21
do they have a veggie breakfast?
#22
Probably safe with this deal. Cannot imagine they'll be much meat in the sausages for 99p

What's the difference between martians and Tescos?

A: Not much. They both want to take over the world...

;)

p.s. Good find OP. Have some warmth.

Can anyone verify this deal?
#25
How much do they charge for a tea or OJ to go with it?

Can't have a hot breakfast without a drink.

they will probably put the price of the drinks up to compensate for this deal.

#31
Ikea breakfast buch better IMO.
#32
Havent been in a tesco cafe (contracted cafe) for over 5 years...Dirty horrible , just for scruffs...
#33
The Big 4 always offer loss leaders to get you in their store, morrisons now offering free food to kids in the evenings - thats going to get Tesco's attention - they are bound to start coming up with their own cheap eat in-store deals where ever possible.

Been thinking if the cafe at Prince Avenue is open in the morning.....probably not
#35
I find the cafe way overly priced and have complained before at being served cold frozen food .... wouldn't eat or drink in one... why pay nearly £2 for a cup of cheap nasty tea ... better to buy the meal deal for nearly same price an sit in the park
